Part Ex price for 2010 Fabia Elegance?
curs replied to banksider50's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
p/x my 60 plate VRS last OCT 2011 2.5k only got £10.500 for that good job it was VAT free and the offer was still on. just been offered £4.000 P/X for my 2008 sport with 24k miles should be able to do a lot better that £4.500 on a 10 plate fabia. -
AS I have said before my was using 1L oil every 500 to 600 miles no one wanted to know, even seat UK said that's within the tolerance and I needed to do 10k and then it may settle, by that time car would have been out of warranty as I only do about 2.5k a year. so got shot of it.

Had to have a new one on my 2008 sport when it was 4 years old but the car had only done 15K (£181.00 ) all in

As far as colours I had a white vrs with black roof and wheels I also have a red 2008 sport and must say I liked the white one best. I didn't keep my vrs long because of the oil usage as i only do about 2.5k a year skoda wanted me to do about 10k as they said it my settle at this mileage but then I would have had no warranty left so couldn't take that change. I then got a 2010 mx5 now with 2.5k and you know what, now got a problem with the slip diff and mazda now trying to fob me off. If I knew I would have no problems with a vrs (oil, Mis fire) I may be tempted to get another one. Don't like the shape from the front but for the money (new) nothing can match it. Been looking at a renault megane cup and a seat leon cupra R both around 16k.

curs replied to Richf's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Octy vrs looks so much better, had a fabia vrs just couldn't get used to its looks my 12 sport don't look much different -
Had the anti roll bar drivers side replaced at 10k and now the other side has to be replaced at 23k ( also 2 shock have been replaced both at the back one on first MOT about 7k this was done for free as we were buying the car and other at 2ND MOT about 20k (£181.00). Car is a 2008 fabia 12 sport is this very common. car had only covered 7k in 3 years 1st owner.

Skoda reputation... Still encountering prejudice?
curs replied to Starship Fighter's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Never had anyone say anything other than skodas have come on a lot since the old days, been thinking of changing the fabia for something with 3 proper seats in the back, most of them french, Skodas quality if far better than any french car I have looked at and (my opinion) but with my budget may have to keep the fabia for another year possible.
