plus car manufacturers are always negative to stuff like this. no no you cant do that we are not making the money out of it., vw will start their own version of it but instead of red fluid it will be green and can only be used for vws

Would people want to buy a 200k mile VRS?
stedee replied to iamrcb's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
not sure but 200k is alot, it would put most ppl off, i would just keep it and run into into the ground see how many she does before giving up. -

in my experience what you pay for it doesnt mean squat. if you think you are going to get a better car because its more expensive, think again it doesnt work like that. you have to judge each car on its merits and sniff out the owner as much as you can, they often give out more clues than the car. as for buying off a stealer, sorry i meant dealer, ppl think they are safe, how wrong can they be. they are in the game to make as much money as possible end of. i could tell you a story about network q but i think i`ll get done for slander or libel which ever one it is. and true a 100k plus miler can often be in better health than a 50k one because of the life its lead -

its more than an engine flush, they run 2 types of liquid through the fuel lines , cleans out injectors, valves, pistons and even cat. ive seen it where they do emissions tests before and after. the results are like a brand new engine
-
i forgot what it was called but i am considering doing it before a remap and its that flush thingy i first saw on wheeler dealers. a few on scoobynet have tried and all have reported very good results. think it costs about £90, there are more and more garages doing it now.
-
i dont know ,cant be arsed to look through all the google listings again. we need a tried and tested sticky on here. i have noticed most of the cheaper coilies as in under 400 squid seem good for the first few months then they start to suffer. knowing me it was probably 1066ad
-
will do, i work in bradford so might see you
-
ive seen the aps for 370 delivered
-
are the aps any good then and what the hell are helper springs, ive got coilies on my scooby but never heard or recall seeing helper springs
-
i was looking at these but ive heard bad stuff on the bm forums
