had my battery checked?
I think it's a bit of a stretch to refer to that as regenerative braking, but fair enough, I get the concept 😏, every little helps

Anyone retro fitted heated steering wheel
I can confirm the park issue was just long coding For the module, my wiring was correct, Coding sorted it. Now just the heated wiring to run

Anyone retro fitted heated steering wheel
All non-heating functions work OK but the car complains that I haven't put it into park, so that blue/purple wire isn't quite right, or maybe the steering control module needs to be flashed with skoda superb software or something. The gear indicator on dash knows its gone to p, but this part of the system doesn't

Anyone retro fitted heated steering wheel
just to confirm I've identified and correctly placed the final 2x missing wires, the black/white currently in t16a pin 5 goes to pin 7 on the new 14pin connector, and the blue/purple which is originally on t16a pin 11 goes to pin 14 on the new 14pin connector (for automatic/dsg to sense if the lever is in 'Park') all that's left to complete the heated wheel retrofit now is to run 1mm red/black cable for live from t14 pin 1 to 10a fuse number 4 on holder c, and follow the brown white earth from pin 4 on t14g to find where it turns from 0.5mm into brown and black 1.0mm cable - this is where I should join my new 1.0mm brown and white earth from t14 pin 8 Then I test whether the existing climatronic module activates the heated wheel by turning on drivers' heated seat, or whether you actually need the version of climatronic control that has a picture of a steering wheel next to the drivers seat on drivers heated seat button

Anyone retro fitted heated steering wheel
I'm doing this currently, the heated wheel version I got is the leather flat bottom sport type also has DSG paddles and the view button, which I need for my virtual cockpit retrofit. I used steering wheel part 3v0 419 091 AF BGW (bgw means white stitching) The original airbag fitted this wheel fine. I have bought a clock spring 5q0 953569B (version c now supercedes b, so c should be fine also) which has the connector for heated wheel (see connector 'd' in diagram below) The primary connector on the new heated version clockspring uses a 14pin connector (5q0 972 726) where the non-heated used a 16 pin connector. I've managed to review all the pinouts from wiring diagrams, see my translation table below - however I have a problem in that my original 16 pin connector seems to have 2x wires that I don't see described in the wiring diagrams. black/white in pin 5 and blue in pin 11. I'll need to figure out what they're for before I can complete the fitting. If anyone has a pre-nov 2016 version of the multifunction steering wheel document, please share! multifunction steering wheel nov 2016 onward.pdf Heated Steering Wheel Current Flow Diagram.pdf multifunction steering wheel may-nov 2016.pdf

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Mick's in Ireland. Actually as a uk resident, what you need is a family member that happens to live in Ireland (europe) within a short drive of a hermes dropoff shop across the Northern Irish border. Allegedly.

VCDS options on Superb III
I wonder if its possible to add these modes to a car which only normally has 4, for instance i have added the offroad display ability to the mib2, but i wonder if it can be added as a new mode

VCDS options on Superb III
Just to expand on this, for each driving profile, you set the colour to a number from 1-30 which represent the 30 colours left to right on your display leaving/coming home (I set mine to a warm amber '6') ENG153712-ENG154602-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_0 eco (I set it green 28) ENG153712-ENG154603-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_1 normal (I set it offwhite 3 to be the calmest on the eyes, and also to provide the best wow factor when passengers don't realise you have colour lighting other than white until you shift to another driving mode) ENG153712-ENG154610-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_2 sport (I set it to 10 - red - of course!) ENG153712-ENG154611-Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil_3 I've attached v3 of the script, including these driving profiles, if you don't want driving profiles, then use v2. if you've already done the script v2, and you just want to add the driving profiles, I've attached a script to just add the driving profile colours on their own 30colours_just_driving_profiles.txt 30colours_v3_with_driving_profiles.txt

What have you done to your Superb III today?
it's a quick vid I made after fitting mine, I've not got any money yet, nor do I really expect some random aliexpress chinese seller to send me money.. I was aware of the lack of visual confirmation from inside the vehicle, but not enough of an issue for me to make me wait in the hope of a better one can't find anyone making that 'perfect' version yet. here you can see the blue animation when you open the car. Can't decide whether it's cool or naff product

Retrofitted MIB2.5 high (columbus) to replace mib2, retrofitted virtual cockpit. Havent got the maps coming through over MOST from mib2.5 to the VC yet, must be some coding I missed. Getting working geko/fazit/odis live accounts with cp removal enabled to do this kind of retrofitting yourself is the hardest bit, but got there in the end. You can have a bad day when you start getting these blue screens haha, but got it all sorted

What have you done to your Superb III today?
As part of preparing my car for a virtual cockpit retrofit, today I upgraded the canbus gateway module (module 19) from 5q0 907 530AM to 3Q0 907 530AC. This is not an operation for the faint of heart in terms of coding/programming. If you get it wrong, bricking your car is more than possible here.. I got the module used off a VW for £39 on ebay. I paid eur20 for 1hr access to an odis online account from vaglogins.com, as component protection removal is needed as part of the process. Remove drivers knee airbag, remove drivers footwell air duct, swap gateway module I used the guided function in Odis-s to go through all the flashing, parameterization, coding, cp removal, restoring features, etc etc.

@JR RS you did an amazing job calibrating, would you mind sharing your calibration figures? I also have a notchback, and don't care about perfect calibration, just want to get rid of the no basic settings error
