I had the oil round egr. Valve was knackered so deleted it. Also made up a new top pipe and I still have a whistle!

Interested in this pretty sure mine is leaking too!

They were on eBay, just did a search and they don't seem to be listed. They did have a website but can't even find that now!

There is a guide on this in the technical forum. Think it's quite far back

Will look better with normal lights. Why spend money on new exhaust if you're changing the engine? Otherwise looks tidy!

So I fitted my darkside EGR delete and diy top boost pipe tonight. All fine apart from the coupler to the intercooler is leaking (from the connector not the silicone). Anyone got any suggestions on sealing this? I used the eBay connector recommended in other threads. Presumably if I got the wrong size coupler it wouldn't have fitted at all?

OK slow progress but I've finally got home from uni and can start fitting things! Arrived at 5pm today and have already got an Egr delete and new top boost pipe fitted. Hoping to get my springs and bushes fitted this week but never done it before so a bit nervous!

From reading the forums it seems springs from the 9N/9N3 will

I get white on start up until warm but I know my EGR valve is knackered!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to fit AP shocks and spring in the Leicestershire area? I'm in Loughborough.

Alternatively if anyone lives in the area and wouldn't mind fitting them they can name their price and I'd happily come and make coffee/be tool monkey

Hi Guys Recently purchased some AP shocks and springs, front and rear console polypushes, dogbone polybush and drop links to give my fabia a good suspension overhaul. Can anyone recommend somewhere reasonable to get them fitted in the loughborough or surrounding area? Cheers!

I noticed my EGR and turbo pipes were very dirty at the weekend so gave them clean to check if they are leaking and they are :-( so I have cable tied the boost pipe (seems to have helped but will need replacing). My question is my EGR seems to be leaking out of this little hole in the photo: I'll source a delete but 1. How urgent is this? And 2. Is this indicative of something else about to go bang? Don't seem to be losing oil.

I get one that sounds like it's coming from the glove box (yes I tried emptying it). Very annoying!

Definitely is! Couple of big things first though, new seats (thinking new seat Leon following pastyboys method if its possible) and wheel refurb as wheels are in a bad state but that can wait till this weather stops!

Just ordered myself a set of AP coils and springs from DPM, couldn't find any posts anywhere to justify the extra money until you got up to the 500+ range

Decided I should start a project thread as I start modifying my little red fabia! Picked her up in November with 103k miles on, totally standard, FSH. Woman I bought her off couldn't have looked after her better (apart from possibly using a decent garage rather than Halfords auto centres for the last few years). As I bought her: Soon replaced the badges with new style ones and have some pasty badge wheel centers and steering wheel on order with the current group buy.] Picture of the old badges: New badges look awesome! Today I have ordered AP lowering springs and shocks from DPM performance (lots of speed bumps in my area and mostly do motorway miles so decided not to get coilovers). While the suspension is being changed I decided everything else could do with a refresh as, as far as I can see the bushes have never been changed! So Powerflex front bushes and lower engine mount, PSB rear (console) bushes and Superpro FARB Bushes along with topmounts, droplinks, ball joints etc (Car currently feels very loose at the front end so pretty sure something down there is shot!) Now just waiting on a mate to fit it all for me!
