Yeah I ordered a 170 Elegance loaded (couldn't face the brown) as my company car. I wanted a DSG, but it made a huge difference on the cost - £100 a month.

Ive noticed that mine gets worse going around roundabout. Must be a wire behind a panel. Superb170 - do you have the upgraded speakers?

I use it all the time while parallel parking to protect the alloys. I rate myself as a competent parker, but occasionally I catch the rear kerb side wheel. Doing it every day, probably 2 - 3 times a day and the damage builds up over 3 years.

That's the one. I've just seen the thread on rattling air vents. Might see if it easies once warm. Cheers

At about 2000 rpm it clicks / buzzes like a wind up egg timer.

My 63 170 Elegance Combi has just started generating buzzing noise at about 2000 rpm. It's coming from somewhere in the region of the instrument dials / where the door meets the dash. It's not loud at the moment, but I am sure it has got slowly worse. Loud enough to annoy me, but quiet and isolated enough for a dealer to think I was a bit of a pedant if I turned up complaining. Never had one tick/ rattle / buzz in 2 years with my last Audi A4. I hoped for the same.

I used to own a C1 prior to a Ford C Max, Audi A4 Avant and now my fl Superb Combi Elegance 170cr. My wife just reminded me the other day how much I loved that C1. The 3 cylinder engine was advanced and magic. If it it wasn't for the kids...

I have two small kids and it really helps with the often complex logistics of getting them in and out.

Hi Does anyone know how you can stop the stereo defaulting to the mobile bluetooth on start up. Every time my car sees my phone for the first time it switches. Cheers!

Suprised that Skoda recommend bedding in the engine across the first 1000 or so miles. My Audi (with a similar engine) had no such requirement.

So I finally got my black fl 170 Elegance Estate delivered yesterday and my Audi A4 Avant was carried off on the same low loader. First impressions? I feel like I am sitting in a Range Rover compared to my A4. You sit with your legs out straight in the A4, while the Superb is more sat on. The size is impressive, and the toys are great. I added kessy and park assist. Park assist is a revelation, and particularly useful for grabbing a tight space on London streets. I can't quite fathom kessy out. It doesn't seem to lock when I walk away. Or doesn't always open the rear doors on return. The throttle response doesn't seem quite as quick as my A4, even though that was a 136 Tdie. But speed builds well after that initial lag. The size is great (the driver for my purchase) and I can actually step into the rear of my car to strap my two children in. My eldest can no longer kick the back of my seat! The boot looks set to swallow all the A4 held plus lots more. Lets see how the next few weeks go.

Looks like the ultimate mats are tailored, and I reckon having some extra extra deep pile really suits the car. Certainly makes up for the poor standard carpets!

This all makes me sweat. On Friday next week I will be receiving a 170cr elegance combi, but handing back an Audi A4 Avant (which has been awesome except for being too small for growing family). I had a Ford c class previously and that drove me nuts by creaking like a galleon. Hope I am not going back to something like that!

Does it feel a bit too cheap? (A4 driver about to swap)

Whatever the obvious value of the overall product, to suggest that one bit of crappy coloured plastic worth £150 more than another bit of crappy coloured plastic is great value is, I'm afraid, nuts.

I have specified midi in my order, but I do wonder what the point is when you plug an SD card right in....?

I have a chip express box on my audi a4 tdie 134. Ups that to around 160bhp. Turns a sedate cruiser into something with a bit of oomph. No problems in 2 years. It will be a straight transfer to the 170cr I have on order. Which will take it to circa 200 bhp and about 7.7 to 60.

I have a Combi Elegance on order, and assumed I would get the aluminium trim with the onyx interior. Have I assumed correctly? I saw a fl Elegance parked up yesterday and it had the wood.
