  1. The Sat Nav in my 2013 model probably needs an upgrade to reflect changes in road lay outs etc Is this possible? If so, presume it is a Main Dealer job?
  2. As a consequence of the new front springs, it seems my dipped headlamp beams have possibly altered as a consequence> I have been flashed 3-4 times by oncoming cars since the springs were renewed so I assume the dipped beams are set too high. Appreciate any thoughts please
  3. Thank you for this. I have had both my front springs replaced. A hefty £320 for the pair.
  4. Has anyone experienced problems with front springs. I have had just one break on me and have had it replaced. The garage told me that they have to replace them quite regularly on all models. Wonder if it is worthwhile having the other spring replaced too. Just grateful that the spring went whilst I was at home and not on a journey.
  5. Since returning from having my car serviced (Superb L&K Combi), the average fuel consumption seems to be stuck on 26mpg and there is an icon on a letter O which a line through it SW/NW which presumably means there is a problem. I cant find any details on this within the handbook and it appears the problem does not affect the 'Real Time' MPG detail. Appreciate any guidance please. btw I appreciate it has been discussed before but, if anyone is interested, my average real time fuel consumption is about 13% lower than recorded on the trip computer, However for a big car the overall real time average for the car is consistently 40mpg despite the fact I dont go on so many long hauls as I did when first getting the car.
  6. Sorry if this has been discussed before but according to Tyre retailers, the PSI on my Superb Mk 11 Estate 4 x 4, tyre pressures should be 32/34 + 2 PSI when carrying loads. However my front tyres, in particular, seem to wear on the outside although I have the tracking adjusted regularly. My garage suggests upping the PSI to 38. Any thoughts please?
  7. Thanks for all the assistance on this

  9. Looking at buying a petrol Scala with the auto box. Would be really interested in hearing back from those who have one on their impressions. Thanks.
  10. Interesting suggestion re Powder Coating. Isnt that a fairly expensive process?
  11. I have had my Diamond Cut wheels replaced once already under warranty and they are beginning to again show wear around the centre boss. Any thoughts on a suitable non Diamond Cut cost effective 18" replacements which look the part? Presume I will have to advise my insurance company. The wheels and tyre on my Superb L & K have been the main bug bear on the car which is otherwise great.
  12. Thank you for this. I am sure this is a very basic question but how do you delete the previous phone?
  13. Have a new Samsung 10 phone and it seems unwilling to connect with my car system The phone Wi -Fi connection is 'on' but my Superb's in car system refuses the recognise the phone. Any suggestions please?
  14. Grateful for any advice on best options to buy replacement wiper blades for my L & K estate. Presume Bosch are the best option but priciest?
