I've just emailed VWFS to see what they say about the vehicle.

I'm wondering what has happened to my car, they've had 6 working days now. I'm taking it as they've still not managed to fix it! What's the next step, if a dealership can't fix it?

You may have to wait until the new model becomes available. The new one may have it as an option.

Kind of ironically, the courtesy car has just thrown up the SOS error and told me to call the workshop. I just turned the car off for a couple of minutes and it vanished.

I've just had a home visit from Skoda Assist (VW technician) and been advised that the camera is basically knackered and needs replacing. Is this a common thing or is it relatively uncommon? At least I now know what has caused the car to go into full emergency braking mode and slam on the brakes whilst maneuvering. Apparently Garlands have changed the oil sensor twice (which is odd), so it's a wiring issue. The door lock motor has failed again (albeit intermittently), the infotainment system has multiple failures with the databus. Does that mean it needs replacing too? The car is an absolute nightmare and a complete joke.

Hi. Got a quick question, my car is telling me that I'm due an oil service in 27 days time. That's unlikely to happen as my last booking for my ongoing oil sensor failure warnings was cancelled by text! Is there a way to reset it, to stop its constant nagging, because gawd knows when we're going to come out of lock down and I'll be able to get an appointment with the garage to do both oil change & sensor failure work. Just a quick question can someone remind this addled 52 year old, what engine oil this wretched car needs, I threw the last bottle away when I topped it up. 😟 PS. It's a 19 plate.
