1.6 TDI economy Normal vs Sport mode
saurabhdutt replied to DougL's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
You might be right there. I am going to try MGs on all three modes and see the difference. I see on the form, members seem to getting more MPGs on Sport than Eco, how does Normal mode behave when it comes to the fuel consumption? -
1.6 TDI economy Normal vs Sport mode
saurabhdutt replied to DougL's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Same here, with eco mode it gives me around 58-60 MPG however in Sport it shows around 62 MPG. Then, whats the point of "eco" function. -
noise when steering in full lock
saurabhdutt replied to Gallo's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I had the same issue with mine. CV boots need greasing. Take it to the dealer and he will do it for you and then there will be no noise what so ever. -

Fuel Tank Capacity On My 1.6 Tdi Be Estate
saurabhdutt replied to saurabhdutt's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
That's what I mean. Why would you advertise 50 L tank and it can't take more than 45. -
I have had this car for 4 months now and I am tad bit confused about the fuel tank capacity on my 1.6 TDI Black Edition Estate. I have been in 3 situations where the remaining miles before the fuel runs out were 7-10 and after re-fuelling the tank it only managed 42-43 litres (brimmed). Which makes me thing that the fuel tank is not 50 L as it was on my 1.2 TSI Hatch. What do you intelligent people think about it? Thanks Saurabh

Hi all, I was having a brilliant time with my CitiGo Sport and suddenly SWAMBO decided to get a MINI (her dream car). So here I am saying bye to my CitiGo. She was good to us, yes few issues with the brake discs, clutch pedal click etc etc however every mile covered in it did put smile on my face. We will have to say bye as we can afford to keep 3 cars. I have got few extras which I got with my CitiGo (centre arm rest, PID, boot liner and the spare wheel kit). I am not keen to give it to the dealer as I am not getting any benefit with the part ex for these extras. Is there any way I could sell them privately or something? We pick up the new MINI this friday and yes it would be a lie to say "I am not excited about it" ;-)) Thanks a lot for all the support with my CitiGo. Thanks Saurabh

Brand new Citigo 14" spare wheel + tool kit and fixings
saurabhdutt posted a topic in Parts For Sale
Hi, I am selling my CitiGo therefore I am getting rid of the spare wheel + the tool kit and fixings it came with. It has never been used, took it out for the very first time to take pictures. I live around Uxbridge and more than happy to deliver it within 20-30 miles. I am looking for £70 for the kit. Thanks Saurabh -

Hi all, My father in law decided to change his 60 PS GL Elegance CitiGo with a Move UP! (SE equivalent). He got a very good deal on a pre reg and we bought it yesterday. It was quite a long drive to get back home and I ended up driving the car. I really liked the car, even though the trios are based on the same platform however UP! Still felt quiet refined. I found the engine very smooth, very nippy, suspension was very soft (took lumps and bumps very nicely) and interior and exterior finishing was much better. I like my sport a lot and have no plans of changing her. Saurabh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all, I now have sold my father in law's CitiGo. I have the PID for sale. Please drop a line if interested. It is only four months old however hardly used as my father in law is not very good at keeping up with these things. It comes with the full set (dash arm, PID, USB cable and might be able to dig the box it came in). I am looking for £200 ONO.
