I have a 1.6 TDI and its more than enough for me. I am 30, a photographer and an ex formula 2 racer, I mentioned my profession and age to show any misconceptions some people might have "doing 20 mph under speed limit". I save a lot on the company car tax, road tax (ok only £20 anually) and get few more miles out as compared to a 2.0 engine. I totally agree 2.0 is a much better engine however 1.6 is perfect and more than adequate for my needs and I do travel alot on motrrways especially atleast twice a month from London to Edinburgh for work and my car has never missed a beat. I also have a 2014 Honda1000RR Fireblade which will eat any 300+ bhp car alive. So when I need speed rush I know which key to pickup. Today is "Sunday", let me get my Fireblade out....

Call SUK and escalate the issue to the customer relations team. They are very good. They had my car rejection accepted in no time and on top of that I received a cheque of £500. Tweet and put it on Facebook, you'll be heard soon.

I was about to ask to see the wing mirrors too as they might had pained them too. I had my wing mirrors replaced and the dealer returned the ones came with the car. Ask for compensation this time..

4 months is a long time unless you are ordering a VRS. Try and call other dealers and see if they have something in stock or coming in soon.

I was going to ask this question about the sun roof. I would love to have the sunroof fitted to my sport.

Mine just says INSP and no miles or kilometers, it stays for few seconds and goes back to the trip meter. How do I check how many miles before I book the service OR just follow 10,000 miles interval?

Cheers fellas. Does it mean that I will have to get her serviced straight away as the manual says 10,000 miles or 1 year.
