  1. Brilliant work. well done πŸ‘
  2. Before and after pics. bought from Superskoda. front badge and back badge both fit just fine.
  3. Since I have the iPhone CarPlay, is there anything to be gained by buying an SD card as well do you think?
  4. Cheers Shy, apologies for the crappy pic. Camera on the iPhone is acting up πŸ™„
  5. any thoughts on the sd card? silly question (yet again) what’s the name of my media system, Columbus??
  6. @UndertheRadar thanks for the reply. it’s not on the discs at all (it used to on the discs on my old vrs), but the wheel hubs instead. I’m getting the brake callipers painted in the next week or two so I’ll look into the hubs as well, thanks. πŸ‘
  7. Changed the bumper strip and front mats. Both from Kopacek (formerly Superskoda). €64 including delivery in one week from Czech Republic! also some random pics of what I’ve done to the car in the 7 months I’ve had it. Love the car! Question, I’m going to paint the brake callipers blue but the wheel hubs (is that the term? 🧐), are showing signs of rust...would a wire brush sort it or do they need painting?? oh another one, should I get an sd card? Is there anything to gain by getting one for the car? I have an iPhone so plug and play is great. I’d appreciate opinions, cheers! ps. Great forum πŸ‘
  8. What bulbs did you fit? I have only done fog LED’s to mine cheers πŸ‘
  9. I also got the Skoda valve caps but read here that they can be really difficult to remove. Maybe a dab of Vaseline (oooh matron) would suffice? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
  10. Something cheap and cheerful from Ali Express
  11. Really happy with the new ones.
  12. €77.50 from a local car parts shop I did buy Osram night breakers but they were just a regular but brighter bulb.
  13. I also changed my fog bulbs (well my mechanic did). Literally took him less than 10 mins.
  14. My start stop function stopped working, I unplugged the dash cam from the cigarette lighter and after 3-4 days it started to work again. I have also noticed that the engine seems to have calmed when running idle. (Apologies for the ****e description but I do hope understood my terminology). πŸ‘
  15. Fitted shadow lights, didn’t realise the back door ones are reflectors and have no bulbs πŸ™„. So I have a pair of spares now I suppose.
  16. Thanks for that, I emailed their customer service and they replied with more updates for iOS are due in the β€˜near future’. 🀨
  17. Sorry if this has already been addressed but does the obdeleven work on iOS to the same standard as android? I know it didn’t have all features as it was waiting on updates! cheers.
  18. Yes and yes πŸ˜‚ Forge Hill in Cork https://leesidetuning.com/ ask for Lee πŸ‘
  19. On the RR it produced 158.29 standard rising to 193.14 post map with an extra 60Nm of torque.
  20. First time detailer, so I’m a real noob. Yesterday I started at 8.15, and finished 6 hours later. I was absolutely knackered after it, my back was killing me as well. 🀣 I removed about 75% of the swirl marks using a Von Haus DA polisher. washed two bucket method clay Devils Blood for iron contamination removal (Jesus that stuff stinks!) wash dry Negs tyre dressing gel forgot glass cleaner so I used EGP on the outside glass. brought inside and masked off the car sprayed the foam pads with Meguiars quick detailer before using Megs compound. Applied a coat of Autoglym EGP and left to cure for twenty minutes before buffing off. all in all not bad for my first attempt although I would appreciate any tips from the more experienced or pro detailers here, cheers! left and right are before and after pics, badly taken pics with my phone πŸ™„ brought outside to take a few pics of my hard work. It’s looking better now than when I picked it up from the dealership over four months ago.
  21. Got my Sportline mapped last Thursday, On Friday engine management like get came on. Back up to the tuner Friday night and VCDS threw up a reading of 23.99g of soot😳 sensors cleaned and all is good again.
