I will need these by 00.00h on the Monday before the meet. We will also need to arrange in the car park before going in who's gonna sit with whom, I appreciate its not the usual thing but, if we wanna continue with the meets we're gonna have to follow the rules. @timyates1989, @Xavier, @Newport91, @JerryT, @shanemeh, @andy68, @64033, @Leeboy, @dsj20v, @skodanorman, @jonbmx900, @mattsv, @JoseDB, @jcarr162000, @ZubSub, @K155BMR, @zouche, @Chris6663, @Toxicvrs, @LiamONeill, @mycoolbeard, @J45ON, @gary80, @Famous_Afro_Jay, @Bowders1, @TeflonTom, @peterhaskew, @carrera85, @146matty, @JackClap, @vrsjub, @pierst1, @fex, @solite, @jjc, @fatwomble, @kennyd32, @High4, @Mike18Clark, @Gambo, @Evans octy no:67/100, @Dave And Lolli, @Horsee, @andras.orban, @octyjosh, @lemonvrs, @Leee, @Carl Monte, @PompeyKev, @pikachu24, @V8 Dave, @Lee01, @Hyphons, @stuartvrs, @Yoss, @tamiyaandy, @hardcorehobbit, @andsoutham, @Tomote, @mk4gtiturbo, @Mustafa, @austenw90, @sigarland1987, @BJB540, @Thorpe76, @VladSoilerOfCarpets, @bullawayo, @Octy 4x4t, @Lingnoi, @Lkim13, @AndrewE, @bspman, @Chelseacraig, @jars, @flashman, @Cydermonkey, @AJ7788, @gjgrst, @JGrindel, @MissPiggy, @Hedge, @jronnquist, @CHRIS ELLIS, @Updown789, @stubunce, @@lexc, @mase101, @Chris245, @Robsskoda, @Max M4X WW, @Pullin76, @MHargr

Meon Hut Meet #87 7pm on the 06/10/2020
The West Meon Hut meet #87 Tuesday 6th of October 7pm onwards but, some do rock up early. The place does a range of cheap'n'cheerful food & drinks, its not a dive but, don't expect a classy joint either what is does have is some quick, interesting sections of road & a large carpark. All Skoda & Non-Skoda drivers welcome, partners & children welcome although, being a Car Club it may not be very interesting for them. I'll keep tagging previous attendees to ensure everyone is as well informed as can be although, please pm me to be removed from the list should it become a PITA http://www.westmeonpub.co.uk/ https://www.google.c...82abeebd26a1535 @timyates1989, @Xavier, @Newport91, @JerryT, @shanemeh, @andy68, @64033, @Leeboy, @dsj20v, @skodanorman, @jonbmx900, @mattsv, @JoseDB, @jcarr162000, @ZubSub, @K155BMR, @zouche, @Chris6663, @Toxicvrs, @LiamONeill, @mycoolbeard, @J45ON, @gary80, @Famous_Afro_Jay, @Bowders1, @TeflonTom, @peterhaskew, @carrera85, @146matty, @JackClap, @vrsjub, @pierst1, @fex, @solite, @jjc, @fatwomble, @kennyd32, @High4, @Mike18Clark, @Gambo, @Evans octy no:67/100, @Dave And Lolli, @Horsee, @andras.orban, @octyjosh, @lemonvrs, @Leee, @Carl Monte, @PompeyKev, @pikachu24, @V8 Dave, @Lee01, @Hyphons, @stuartvrs, @Yoss, @tamiyaandy, @hardcorehobbit, @andsoutham, @Tomote, @mk4gtiturbo, @Mustafa, @austenw90, @sigarland1987, @BJB540, @Thorpe76, @VladSoilerOfCarpets, @bullawayo, @Octy 4x4t, @Lingnoi, @Lkim13, @AndrewE, @bspman, @Chelseacraig, @jars, @flashman, @Cydermonkey, @AJ7788, @gjgrst, @JGrindel, @MissPiggy, @Hedge, @jronnquist, @CHRIS ELLIS, @Updown789, @stubunce, @@lexc, @mase101, @Chris245, @Robsskoda, @Max M4X WW, @Pullin76, @MHargr

Possible dates for the 2020 rolling road day
OK gals N guys its about time I got my arse on gear & arranged this, from the previous 4x4 requests, I'm looking for a new venue with 4x4 capabilities & a great reputation. Only set of rollers on my radar currently is Surrey Rolling Road GU14 unless, anyone has experience of a better 4x4 setup, if you do please PM me. Guys SRR isn't doing any club organised events at the current time so, please some suggestions Just tagging @timyates1989, @Xavier, @Newport91, @JerryT, @shanemeh, @andy68, @64033, @Leeboy, @dsj20v, @skodanorman, @jonbmx900, @mattsv, @JoseDB, @jcarr162000, @ZubSub, @K155BMR, @zouche, @Chris6663, @Toxicvrs, @LiamONeill, @mycoolbeard, @J45ON, @gary80, @Famous_Afro_Jay, @Bowders1, @TeflonTom, @peterhaskew, @carrera85, @146matty, @JackClap, @vrsjub, @pierst1, @fex, @solite, @jjc, @fatwomble, @kennyd32, @High4, @Mike18Clark, @Gambo, @Evans octy no:67/100, @Dave And Lolli, @Horsee, @andras.orban, @octyjosh, @lemonvrs, @Leee, @Carl Monte, @PompeyKev, @pikachu24, @V8 Dave, @Lee01, @Hyphons, @stuartvrs, @Yoss, @tamiyaandy, @hardcorehobbit, @andsoutham, @Tomote, @mk4gtiturbo, @Mustafa, @austenw90, @sigarland1987, @BJB540, @Thorpe76, @VladSoilerOfCarpets, @bullawayo, @Octy 4x4t, @Lingnoi, @Lkim13, @AndrewE, @bspman, @Chelseacraig, @jars, @flashman, @Cydermonkey, @AJ7788, @gjgrst, @JGrindel, @MissPiggy, @Hedge, @jronnquist, @CHRIS ELLIS, @Updown789, @stubunce, @@lexc, @mase101, @Chris245, @Robsskoda, @Max M4X WW, @MHargr

Transfer to FL VRS from pfl tdi
Hmmmm, gotta guess the tdi poly insert will be softer, I've got the motorsport 034 ali on my 245, wound up it as tight as it would so I KNOW its moulded, it settled down very quickly noise/vibration wise. Yep new springs might be best, always the most expensive bit that won't workout for you, sods law
-
Running spacers on the rear only
Not for me, wrong fuel type I'm afraid, its also a bloody long drive there although, set off early enough & its ok, coming back not so good though
-
Running spacers on the rear only
FMS Sasha, your car is ACTUALLY clean Very rare sight🤣🤣🤣
-
Transfer to FL VRS from pfl tdi
Can't see any reason for Skoda to have changed anything major like size/shape of the windows, twas only a face lift FFS. So, the blinds & deflectors should be fine The Pedalbox I know works The used dogbone will now be misshaped The springs are probably OK for the front but, the rear track of the fl is 38mm wider so, this may cause an issue

PCP ending with 2k equity
OK you guys you can kick this hot potato around as much as you like but, the bottom line is, if its got tits or tyres its gonna cost you money & the prettiest/fastest models are gonna cost you much more. Dealers need to make 1500 quid outta each deal, thats just the pure economics of their business costs & when I said each deal, that means trade-in 1 deal, purchase 1 deal, or 3 grand in total if trade-in. Nobody wants to pay 3 grand but, drive on to the forecourt in your old car, drive off in your new car, simples. There will always be 2nd hand car market exceptions though, normal supply & demand rules apply. The guy earlier with the financially underwater 1.6tdi was probably due dieselgate whereas I got more for 1.4tsi due to its £30 tax disc. So, if you have the time & abilities to sell private, you'll save 1500 quid but, you'll need a 2nd car, same applies to webuyanycar et. al. TBH playing around with 30-40 grand cars I CBA, I just leave it to the professionals & accept it'll cost me money, bung it on the monthly & its less than a tenner a month🤔🤫ðŸ¤ðŸ¤—

2018 VRS 245 DSG test drive hints
True, the DSG is strong but, has limits, i've had a TCU remap of my DSG & the changes are faster & stronger (approx 40% firmer). Having severely provoked it I have managed to get a software protection of the DSG (bit like an EPC), so it doesn't seem to be reliable & well thought-out. Only fault I've really had was a metal build-up on one of the front brake pads at 4-1/2k miles, which scored the disc very badly. Try to find out when it was made too, 245's from mid May 2018 onwards have a GPF fitted which somewhat cokes the exhaust system. The DSG needs a service at 80k but, the VAQ Diff needs a service at 3 years, as well as the brake fluid change Otherwise, all the bits mentioned above

Octavia Estate 245 Performance Upgrades
Regards tuners, the big boys Revo, APR & now Ben Wardly is there i'd add Raceline in that company BUT & yeah its a big but, make sure they have a GPF remap or you'll be down on power & up on future maintenance. R600 is a very good CAI system, look for a 2nd hand one though as they're stupid money brand new. I've got the muffler delete on (just cos it came with it 2nd hand) & it adds a nice raspy growl through 2-1/2 to 3-1/4k rev range.

tuning box testing... DSD
DSD switched car & they didn't give DTUK a chance to replace the box for the car it was to be tested on although, DTUK told DSD it would'nt work.
-
tuning box testing... DSD
Nothing surprises me, BS talks & facts walk Very sad really, thought DSD were above all that 💩
-
Octavia Estate 245 Performance Upgrades
Depends on when in 2018 yours was produced, MY18 doesn't have a GPF MY19 does & up does alter what you can expect from a remap which tuning companies have a map available. Aside from that, what do want to upgrade, power or handling
-
Keys and User Accounts
Did you do the enable bit at the end, you need to press the unlock button on the key in the ignition with the ignition on
-
tuning box testing... DSD
DSD didn't get the correct tuningbox for the car they tested & didn't want to change it when told by dtuk it wouldn't work, Surprise, Surprise it didn't work. Gotta be careful what you believe on the internet, nuff said

310mm 245 brakes in vrs 220
@SashaGrace ? Personally I kinda think the wider rear track of the Mk3fl might give you some issues & mean its not just parts from the 245 you need but, if anyone knows it Sasha
