  1. I can not rely 100% on the factory cluster gauge but on the other hand the aftermarket on the central console isn't something expensive as a GReddy or AEM.
  2. The car is off, below the digital meter says 13,13 volt.
  3. Refuelling, TC-6 is zeroing and the trip begins, Odometer indication is 95301 Km (324,8 in the Trip meter), at the first stop: Now the Odometer indication is 95375 Km (74,8 in the Trip meter), the distance was 74 Km in Highway and the Total consumption is 4.4 litres which is Average 5.94 ltr/Km or 47.56 British MPG. The Ø indication on the TC-6 agrees. Keep in mind that the car had: 2 persons, 2 valises, 3 sport bags and a full fuel tank so with that weight i find the Fuel Consumption that hot summer day as Very Good. The next measurement is after a Mountain Route (lot of curbs in an uphill and then downhill) till final destination at noon.
  4. An unofficial comparison of what the cluster gauge shows and what the aftermarket in the console (it's sensor is after the expansion tank's hose to the radiator). and The photos are taken immediately when i stopped the car. As you can see they don't match.
  5. Apology: i have done a mistake in posting, i forgot to mention that from the point of 94969 Km i have changed the G12 Plus with the good-old G12 so any MPG results from this point https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/3 till today are with G12, so any comparisons from now on are: G12 HEPU and old radiator vs G12 HEPU and new radiator. So i had: 95297 Km and i had 21 litres which means from the 94976 Km i have travelled 321 Km distance (according to the Trip meter is 321,1) the Total fuel consumption was 6,54 ltr/km or 43.19 British MPG and the trip begins, after refuelling the Odometer indication is 95301 Km (324,8 in the Trip meter) Total consumption 21.5 litres and Average is 6.6 (or 42.80 British MPG). The next measurement was in 95375 Km, i have also manage to take photos from the highest point of coolant temperature at 95640 Km and i will compare it with the indication of the console thermometer. (to be continued)
  6. If you can design a different type of fan blades or install a most powerful fan from another model then go for it. I have opened in the past a topic about an auxiliary electric fan. I think my contribution in this topic ended...
  7. I remembered these: "It's a liquid cooled engine. Cooling the engine bay doesn't do much. "Felicia has a big hole under the engine, I could feel hot air coming out of the engine underneath and the car - and that was with the weak motor of the non-ac 1.3. With AC, you have two speed fan, if it's not kicking to second speed, you have plenty of cooling."
  8. Skoda Felia 1.6 AEE 75Hp brake pads https://kritosparts.gr/SKODA-FELICIA-I-Pickup-(6UF-6U7)-10-95-04-02-1.6-AEE-(75hp)-06-97-04-02/Takakia-set/m106_a3994_t8702_r402_v2 Click the i for each one to see the dimensions.
  9. I have posted in the past photos of mine (with A/C) there is no space to fit a larger radiator (ftom th 1,6) because the aircondition pipes are obstructing the fitting.
  10. I am on vacations, new measurements and photos soon. I will make a comparison betwwen the gauge indication and the console (coolant) thermometer, snapshots from the highest gauge indication plus fuel comparison measurements.
  11. Yes, i have said that in the past https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/491645-can-i-make-a-modification-to-my-felicia-13-filter-case https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/526164-question-felicia-13-mpi-alex-hvac plus the story of the owner (is in israel) because one of the Skoda mechanics from the official dealership (where i bought the car) had travelled there for a/c seminar-tour in the factory etc. Your radiator switch is 80-85,85-90,90-95 'C ?
  12. At Green dot and extremele rare. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/4/#findComment-5950995 Mahle with 2, here is an example: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/NPMAAOSwl7Fm6yfy/s-l400.jpg i never had 3 prone in my Felicia, never saw one in the market.
  13. So what's next? We must change the radiator switch to 85-90 or 90-95 'C? If i remember correct the factory in mine was 87-92 'C.
  14. Since we didn't clarify what was the ''BTB'' that @Thefeliciahacker use... But you had that problems few years ago. So what's next? We must change the radiator switch to 85-90 'C? If i remember correct the factory in mine was 87-92 'C.
  15. Google search: BTB test stands for bovine tuberculosis test.
  16. The next video will be in a Mountain road?
  17. I don't think that anyone has an 80 'C thermostat, those for Felicia in the market are 87-88 'C. An example: https://kritosparts.gr/SKODA-FELICIA-II-(6U1)-01-98-06-01-1.3-AMH-(68hp)-01-98-06-01/Thermostatis
  18. Inside has this https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1iY6aLpXXXXcRXXXXq6xXFXX can be replaced? At 1:43 says it clear, Fuel Smell.
  19. City Traffic: The temperature rises, the thermostat open for 1st time and the needle drops to the Yellow dot. The driving continues, the needle rising, stays for long time in the white factory line and in Summer after some time reaches the Blue dot and the fan start spinning for a while. The meddle drops and if i stay in traffic for long time then again the above. From a recent trip, Highway at noon. The latest months only one (1) time i saw the needle to reach the Green dot, was in a Mountain Route in the top of the uphill with thinner air but after a while dropped. Was 2023 (old radiator and G11) when after a trip involved in a hard City Traffic and in a red light i saw the needle reaching that green dot but after the radiator fan stopped return to normal. I have seen the needle in the 100 'C but that was 5 years ago with lot of problems back then, since that time never again.
  20. It's extremely difficult (almost impossible) to be the canister the culprit for the smell. I had a similar problem in the past, check the fuel lines and wash the cabin filter, also clean the airways (dashboard) with spray. The analog fuel gauge isn't 100% reliable, changes it's indication in uphill-downhill. I don't know about the fuel pump much things but for sure has a locking point,it's steady.
  21. 5 years before i posted about this with phtos and somewhere i have posted a video too. The gause on the cluster was showing false indications due to detritus on the lower part of the coolant sensor, i also have posted a depiction of this somewhere in the forum. I found it by personal search.
  22. A) The first are behind the regulator pressure,i show them to you few days ago, easy access inside the engine bay.The others are metallic and beneath the car, you can't see them from above, you need a lift jack. B)The charcoal canister, also known as a vapor or evaporative emissions (EVAP) canister, is a crucial part of a vehicle's emissions control system, particularly in gasoline-powered cars. In Skoda Felicias, it's designed to capture and store fuel vapors that evaporate from the fuel tank. These vapors are then purged back into the engine and burned when the engine is running and the purge valve is activated. Functions. Captures fuel vapors: The canister is filled with activated charcoal, which absorbs and traps fuel vapors. Reduces emissions: By preventing these vapors from escaping into the atmosphere, the charcoal canister helps reduce harmful emissions and pollution. Improves fuel efficiency: The captured vapors are eventually burned in the engine, which can contribute to slightly better fuel economy. Prevents fuel tank pressure build-up: The canister also helps regulate pressure in the fuel tank, preventing it from becoming too high or low. Here it is in Felicia, check all the connections.
