  1. Have you try the second key? Here is the diagram: https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/etka/skoda/fel/101/953600/
  2. https://www.carandmotor.gr/nea/kteo-gia-ola-ta-istorika-aytokinita Depends.
  3. With previous status there were many restrictions. Only for shows, events, marriage, ceremonies and from home to repair shop and back. I still wonder how a 80-70 years old car will pass the MOT here, the engineers will check it based in which standards?
  4. Like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/234678338874 EUR 209.60
  5. In England a Classic car of 30's or 50's how passes the MOT? Or they are not allowed to be in the road for every day driving as a modern car?
  6. In Greece, how can a 1930 or 1950 can be inspected with the today's standards? A 1994 V8 Vantage Volante?
  7. King's Charles 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Mk II https://www.foodandwine.com/king-charles-aston-martin-runs-on-cheese-and-wine-7496349 As for the Classic cars with the new status there would be a problem with the MOT. Cars like the @Thefeliciahacker can pass easily but a 60's or 50's (there are some from 1922-1929 era) car based in which standards will be checked? Emmisions, brakes, suspensions etc are out to date, there is no database so how can an engineer can give the "OK" and let it pass?

  9. 90% of Aston Martins ever built are still in good condition. Aston Martin celebrated its 110th anniversary last year. While the British company has faced various difficulties in the past, its unbroken run is a testament to a thriving brand with a real influence on motoring developments. And as if that wasn't enough, the British announced an incredible number: That 90% of Aston Martins ever built are still on the road. The startling statistic was shared by head of product and market strategy, Alex Long, with reporters at an event in New York. Aston Martin has built around 110,000 cars since it was founded in 1913. "A lot of countries live share the VIN of the models they maintain, so we can get a picture of what's out there and what's not," said Long. “Meanwhile, the vast majority of buyers want to protect the value of their cars and choose to maintain them at their main dealers. So we're seeing VINs so old in the system, we thought we'd never see them again." https://www.drive.gr/news/ki-omos-90-ton-aston-martin-kykloforoyn-akoma-ekei-exo (Google translated)
  10. These photos are for @nta16 ,some of the British classic cars that we have here.
  11. Probably yes. Due to heat the motor winding varnish was spilled all around and the grease from the side which were the gears was not on them but in the side walls. I don't know these how long would last. As for comford: even the Jaguar F-Type R here in Greece has not rear windscreen wiper.
  12. 3 different repair shops (and their 3 scanners) plus 1 mine (OBD 11) could't find that one of the major causes for my high fuel consumption was the wrong type of lambda sensor that a VW Group parts store sold me. VCDS and laptop on board are for young people with modern cars, hi-tech knowledge and time to spend on these gadgets. In GR in cases like this we say "keep your money, better spend them in "pitta gyro" .
  13. You don't have errors every week, your car isn't modified, no engine-dashboard swap etc so keep the money and spend them in gasoline for journeys in the country.
  14. No front windscreen wipers today, check and found a 20A burned fuse (from the rear motor). I don't know if or when i will buy a new motor.
  15. A seller told me that Castrol Systrans is discontinued and only few bottles are in stock in the market till the end. Castrol Uk and Ireland manual transmission fluid product range: https://www.castrol.com/en_gb/united-kingdom/home/car-engine-oil-and-fluids/driveline-fluids/manual-transmission-fluids.html
  16. My mistake all these years with the additives, won't happen again.
  17. 3D printing. https://www.yeggi.com/q/manual+shifter/ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5554105 How to make a gated shifter in Blender 3.x
  18. How could i compared them directly? Take a look this photo: I had the thought that a ''plate" with grooves could fit on the console. Another example from Honda https://honda-tech.com/forums/attachments/honda-acura-28/453716d1501528094-hondas-first-gated-shifter-p130511_1237.jpg
  19. Some guys build a ''tower" for this, too much work for me. How to make a gated shifter plate: Needs some refining work.
  20. In my mind i have a project, to install a gated shifter or slick shift gate. We all know the ferrari Testarossa style Here is in reverse with photoshop to suit to the R which in Felicia is in different position. or something like this What say you? It would help the shifting (no error for example from 4th to 3rd in the Highway when aiming for the 5th) and look nice in the console?
  21. Except the problem with the tyre i had another one in the gas station, i show the employee the receipt, paid with credit card and i saw the amount: 77,7 euro ! I said to him are you mad, what is this? The employee was confused with a truck which was in the other pump and fill up diesel his tank, then he return my money in cash because he couldn't cancel the previous payment. I was not in a good mood, i was waiting for this test for days and 2 problems before i start it? Add the problem with the burned wiper blade motor and you will realise that this test was an adventure. Here is the result for the Fuel Consumption. The photo is not good by i had the sun reflections plus the worry for the tyre and the burned motor. The Σ symbol is visible, means Total. I began with 9.6 ltr gasoline and 94.9 Km on the odometer and i finished with 13 ltr and 144.5 Km, so i consumed 3.4 ltr gasoline for 49.6 Km distance. This is 6.85 ltr/ 100 Km or 41.24 Uk MPG for a mixed road conditions test, better than the previous but i feel i had to make another one before i say Case Closed.
  22. The whole system could turn freely, no jam but the axis was turned ''crazy'' (as we say here) which means no gear moving from the other side. The wires are all burned.
