  1. Absolutely, they do both seem to have a similar 'edgy' ethos...The Brewmeister site last week had "Yes" and "No" beers available. No to mention Brewmeister absolutely demolishing Brewdogs record for strong ale.
  2. Probably best you avoid this one then: http://laughingsquid.com/snake-venom-the-worlds-strongest-beer-boasts-a-67-5-abv/
  3. I've not tried that one myself, but I had a shot (that's all they'll serve you) of Brewdog's "Tactical Nuclear Penguin", which is substantially stronger at 32% and it was actually pretty tasty and definitely not reminiscent of special brew...
  4. I still think this is one of the best beer names...
  5. Up until the end of this sentence I wondered where you were going with that...
  6. I'd suggest airsofting, usually works out cheaper than paintball, has cooler looking guns and is often in really interesting (and indoor) locations. I think there are a couple of cool sites in London... Possibly falls foul of the same gender concerns that paintball/clays does though...
  7. If anyone is in the Midlands area I'd be more than happy to meet Keechy at a halfway point and then do a delivery run around the area...Anyone interested?
  8. I would've been happy to come and collect...Would've been nice to put a face to the name! However it goes down, I fully appreciate the amount of work you've put into this!
  9. So I got a low oil light as I pulled into the car park at work this morning...That's not a great sign right?
  10. Puff ;-) Seriously though, that does sound like an absolute nightmare on the pot hole strewn abominations that masquerade as roads nowadays though... Cannot wait to see it destroying all and sundry on the track though!
  11. Who wouldn't? I don't think I'd get tired of the utterly embarrasing chavlings in their pimped up Saxos for a good few months.
  12. I'd guess I've probably done about 100 miles since it was done now...Levels of coolant are fine, I'll check the oil tonight. I've got a stupidly busy week so won't be able to get it booked it to be looked over until next week I don't think :-(
  13. I recently had my wastegate actuator changed following the good old P0299 error code...All seems to be well boostwise now, but a new issue has occured. I notice an odd burning smell, not eau de clutch, something a little less intrusive...When I arrived home from work a couple of days after the job was done I noticed a bit of steam/smoke coming from the grille and when I opened the bonnet I discovered that it was coming from the rear of the engine bay, from what I could see anyway. I've not seen any weird temperature readings or anything like that...But obviously it's a bit of a concern. Do you think the mechanics could've disturbed a gasket or something while changing the actuator?
  14. I had exactly the same thing...Same age car as well, do you think there was a bad batch of actuators?
  15. No radio here at work, which means I tend to end up with random awful songs stuck in my head all day...Currently it's 'Girlfriend' by Avril Lavigne, and no, I am not happy about it. In the car on the way to work it was Mad Capsule Markets, which I was very happy about.
  16. I love how supportive everyone is of this build! Probably my favourite project on here...Cannot wait to see the finished car.
  17. Maybe my analogy was poor...Suffice to say, cyber bullying is the same as being bullied at school, you're in an environment that you "have" to be part of, because so much happens online nowadays for young people that not being online means missing out on all kinds of things...Couple that with standard teenage peer pressure to be seen to be doing the same things as your friends and surely you can see why kids are finding it hard to just log off and ignore things? It's not just online either, cyber bullying can equate to text messages and emails remember. Another thing worth bearing in mind is that kids these days are exposed to a lot more violent imagery in the media than any of us were when we were younger, so their imaginations are significantly more capable of generating much more terrifying scenarios than the standard bully routine that we would've got in school (for reference i'm 36) You might not have online only friends, but many people nowadays do form close relationships with people they've never actually met in person. I'm not saying it's healthy, but it is a fact. Parents should absolutely be taking more responsibility as far as getting their kids to socialise in real life, and should also be paying a lot more attention to what their kids are doing online...That would no doubt help prevent a lot of teenage (and younger) suicides.
  18. Seriously? Imagine you started recieving threatening and abusive PM's on here, would you just leave? You've made friends on here haven't you? some of whom you don't know in real life. It's hard for most people to just pack up and leave friends behind... Now imagine you've grown up in a world where your life online is as important, if not at times more important, than your life offline. Your online friends know more about you than your offline friends, if you have any offline friends at all. It's hard to walk away from that. Granted as has been pointed out, there's worse things happening in the world...But when you're being bullied it's hard to take a step back and use things like that to get perspective, so the words on the screen become more and more important... I'd warrant a guess that the people that don't "get" cyber bullying are from a generation that grew up without the internet.
  19. You spelled my name wrong :-( I am however very excited to get a "good sportive look for my engine bay"
  20. With the ali/silver trim on the dash I'd say no...Just with optional full leather seats? Very tidy looking car though that's for damn sure!
  21. I've ordered some return springs...And because I was on the phone to the dealer I also ended up ordering a new rear badge and centre caps for the wheels. Still cheaper than new calipers though, so fingers crossed it works!
