  1. Oye! What about the Hungarian built Japanese one. (add a high profile rape victim to the list it seems)
  2. I used to wonder how long it would be before the car could login to your home wifi for updates. It seems the car has to come with a subscription, or at least that’s the future I guess.
  3. Odd spot - https://electrek.co/2019/06/21/tesla-model-3-supercharging-faster-software-update/
  4. A shambles - just like the inside of his car..........and he’s the MOST LIKELY. (If he’s the best, just how bad are the rest?)
  5. All ‘strong (corrupt) men know what they face if they are deposed and Russian expansion is his distraction policy.
  6. ^^^^^ and Georgia is another ‘project’ it seems. Then there is the anti-vaxing trends which the IRA are probably assisting with. Nuclear weapons are useless in comparison.
  7. Britain’s standout candidate - https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/21/opinion/tory-leadership-boris-johnson-jeremy-hunt.html exactly - how did it come to this?.
  8. Does anyone constantly use it because it’s so good or is it just another distraction?.
  9. You would hope an update didn’t involve a range reduction - https://electrek.co/2019/06/20/tesla-battery-range-drop-software-update-longevity/
  10. Czechs deserve compensation - https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/vw-skoda-owners-qualify-23m-diesel-cheat-compensation-czech-court-rules
  11. More like a choice between Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet............definitely not to be taken seriously.
  12. An expanding deficit and a declining GDP aren’t a good combination I would have thought.......unless they too believe in tax cuts and the fantastical Laffer Curve.
  13. You get a sense of the surreal with ‘the contenders’ and their fantasy game.
  14. The Hammond cold shower - https://www.bbc.com/news/business-48699594. (will anyone notice?)
  15. Stuff you won’t read in a Murdoch rag - https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/jun/19/himalayan-glacier-melting-doubled-since-2000-scientists-reveal https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-06-20/mount-everest-expedition-to-collect-environmental-data/11219992
  16. Is the BBC now officially an enemy of the people for making Boris squirm?.
  17. The comedy routine continues - rewarding a Reaganomics (trickledown) con-man:......(a CNBC ‘contributor’): http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/06/art-laffer-curve-trump-medal-freedom-tax-cuts.html?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Intelligencer - June 19%2C 2019&utm_term=Subscription List - Daily Intelligencer (1 Year) ........and big donors bailout? http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/06/the-mercer-family-has-reportedly-bailed-on-trump-in-2020.html?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Intelligencer - June 19%2C 2019&utm_term=Subscription List - Daily Intelligencer (1 Year) .....remember....the Mercers helped with Cambridge Analytica the financing of Brexit. Such good ‘folk’ .....right?.
  18. Who wants to go down in the history books as having ‘delivered Brexit’ ? You can be sure that they would much prefer to talk about anything but BREXIT..........they don’t want to be held accountable for the apocalypse. On second thoughts...........give it to Boris..........much more fun.
  19. Ultimately profitability will determine exactly how long old ICE vehicles remain viable. Refineries need high throughput to remain viable and retail outlets the same. An ever declining demand means only one ultimate outcome. Exxon Mobil/Chevron understands what the future looks like and the Koch Bros will certainly be active in financing Project Fear. This must be the highest stakes game ever.
  20. I get the impression that the candidates put their status in public opinion above ensuring what is best for British business confidence and thus long term employment stability. It seems just so self servicing and indulgent preening.
  21. Ahhh.......proud standard setters in all fields it seems.
  22. German Government is to provide €1 billion for three consortia to ensure battery supply isn’t too China dependent.
  23. More news today fingering 4 it seems.
  24. Basically, since the Second World War, we have had Australian Design Rules which have (supposedly) maintained a standard not necessarily guaranteed eg seatbelt widths and minimum emissions standards etc. Why they can’t set charging standards for access as guidelines for importers and thus manufacturers is a question I hope the general media asks of government.
