R-tec are mento be the masters of vag cats Custom remaps for every car and have owned a golf stage 2 R-tec and the power delivery was amazing, haven't heard anything bad about them till this day

Can someone with a pre - fl that has access to a vcds check something for me PLEASE When ticking the option bi xenons without shutters on byte 3 bit 4. Does vcds add 10 the hex value, hex value being the 2 digit number that is the bytes?

The code you can purchase of eBay for £10.99 as I done the same for my pre fl skoda There are really 2 types of leads you can buy off eBay the female and male connectors I used the female connector and pulled out the blank next to the pass airbag light then drilled a little hole and screwed it in to give it a factory flush look I will find the eBay add when I'm home and post it here for you

My car did not have the byte 3 bit 4 Doing sme research come across a few audi forums You are mento add 10 to the hex value So when you open long coding helper and use arrows to go up and down the byte ' s you see the box that has the 2 digit numbers one box will be yellow follow by the rest green this is the hex value so when you get onto byte 3 the 2 digit number will be yellow So say for example the number there is 12 add 10 on that will be 22 then close the long coding helper and click do it and bobs your uncle Someone can clarify this if the option byte 3 bit 4 xenons without shutters is available on there car if they tick the box they will see 10 add on to the value and if they untick then 10 will be minused hope this helps

Did you clean the surface and dry it before taping the plates on How I usually would do it is to cut 4 slightly smaller then plate vertical strips stick then on plate Then stick plate onto car and apply force all around for about 30 seconds

For my 2005 pre fl octavia I purchased 2 501 w5w led bulbs for map reading lights at front and 2 for boot,I belive it was 2 42mm festoon led bulbs one for front and one for rear For the pre fl any cheap 99p lights will do however , numberplate lights have to be canbus error free

There should only be very slight play and I mean VERY SlIGHT Best way to check for me has been jack car up from suspect wheel try wobble side to side and then up an down if there is a noticeable difference from one wheel compared to opposite side wheel then the one with play needs attention
