  1. Dont get me wrong me wrong the 150 standard was nice and progresive aswell. I find it interesting the amount of turbo variants thats are now available when it comes to upgrade time.... I would be really interested to see what mine makes on a dyno. What do you think the limits of a standard 150 turbo are then??
  2. I've driven both a mapped 150 and a mapped hybrid 130, the 130 was much more punchy lower down and held rev power similar to the 150, admittedly my 130 hybrid is a unit 18 bespoke build, they recommended it as a stronger unit than the 150 standard! But I've never had mine on a rolling road so can't confirm figures
  3. You can get hybrid 130 units which are just as strong if not better than standard 150 units fir less, as mentioned you will still need new connections, just a thought
  4. think your spot on there mate, decided pending Terms and conditions to order an Octavia Vrs TSI and run it for 6 months then maybe swap back to diesel. Will get my Fabia Advertised when the order has gone through Thanks for the advice
  5. Thanks guys very helpful info! Some of their prices seem strange, a golf 1.6 tdi bluemotion is more expensive than a Leon fr tdi!!
  6. I will have a look at the small print, I need to pay my own insurance through their company so will look at costs first. May need to order the Vw and audi but they can source me an octavia in a week or so, Thanks for the advice so far

Keep the current car or sell up and lease for a few years Cheers Matt
  10. Looks very similar if not identical to the scorpion option
  11. Fabia vrs 70k and I thought my miles were getting high
  12. My fabia vrs used to judder like this until i replaced the console bushes and ARB links. It was worse when cold as well Not sure if this helps but maybe a pointer in a certain direction
  13. I think they are different, i bought a grill with what i thought was from a Vrs but when i removed my grill i realised the angle of the slats are very different The standard fabia one i had didnt have any curve in the slats at all
  14. Vinyl wrap doesn't match, infact it's not even close. I have a professionally sprayed black magic grill and it's spoton
  15. never been on a rolling road but it feels much faster than the stage 1 map i had when i was running the KKK turbo and that made 169bhp Peak torque comes in higher now and is held all the way through the rev range, actually there feels like less low down punch but i like that, Its very progressive and runs perfect on a standard clutch A "washbrook" special
  16. I'm running a Hybrid 130 and its limited to 1.8 bar I have had no problems what so ever so i guess the 150 hybrid may handle slightly more Although i'm not sure if any the differences in the internals
  17. Turbo technics hybrid 130 is good for your needs, 650 Inc exchange, excellent product
  18. I would just put a new OEM clutch in and if the flywheel is good you will be looking at £300 fitted ish!!
  19. I have toyo tr series at the moment, similar grip to the Goodyear gsd3 but didn't last anywhere bear as long!! Before that I had uniroyal rs2 and I didn't like them at all, wear out fast and wet grip was nothing special,
  20. That said i sold my Original 288mm fronts for £80 plus P&P
