  3. I personally would buy a cthe and transplant that its not that hard to do as everything is on the front of the engine and you can use the original mounts would say it would take 2 days for a pair of guys (or girls) One day strip out one day fitting

Evening mate yes it’s all stage three mapped with meth mapped in also , it was remapped and then live mapped on the road via data logging and the greddy Profec so the duration and timing is all pre set in the map from RTMG and then the boost is altered via the boost controller so around 1.7 bar is the limit of the Standard injectors and not running meth and around 2-2.05 bar with meth , I also have the DSG gearbox stage three mapped so it has launch control and smoother gear changes, really want a open rolling road day near me so I can see what it is producing but can say it’s easily over 300BHP but need the figures to back it.

  9. 1.6 bar of boost is a lot on a standard turbo for such a little gain , baring in mind mine is running 1.7 bar and maxing out the standard injectors
  10. Is this a joke ? 2.6 bar ??? I have a 300+ bhp vrs that runs 2-2.05 bar maximum and that’s on water meth

I’m sure the engine will burn the meth and it ups the octane doesn’t it ? , mine is controlled via a switch and by boost pressure aswell I’m saying the boost controller can alter the boost pressure so you can run a more aggressive map with more boost while on meth , what’s the point in having water meth if the car runs the exact same with or without it , in my opinion it’s a pointless add on if it’s not mapped in?

Afternoon mate was thinking of a way to make your car better than it already is and think running a similar set up to me is the best way to maximise the meth injection and make the top speed faster and get the most out of the motor , basically why not run a greddy or iBoost boost controller , then you can have your low boost setting (car on standard injectors no need for meth) and a high boost setting (boost mode with meth) that way you can get the best of both worlds on one map the map can just be programmed on the same duration and you are manually manipulating the boost and adding octane through the meth as the ecu with the lambda sensor will realise that it is getting fuel from somewhere other than the diesel injectors and adjust accordingly? If you think this is a stupid idea fair enough but that way you can fit a failsafe with a relay where if the meth throws a fault code it cuts the boost to wastegate pressure

I think your confused here bud , the ecu is getting remapped the remap itself is advancing timing fueling etc I have a Aem water meth kit with a failsafe gauge the failsafe gauge has inputs which measure meth injection cc/min / low level , pump failure etc in a water meth fail it has two wire outputs one being 12v positive the other being ground I want to connect this to a sensor or piggy back a wire on the ecu to cut timing as to protect the engine, I also have a boost controller that alters boost pressure I’m going to use a relay and take one of those wires and it will cut the boost pressure to wastegate pressure in a fail scenario but I want that added level of protection to basically put the car into limp mode in a fail
  17. How would the map know when the water meth isn’t working as the water meth is a standalone unit
  18. I have a water meth kit with failsafe gauge if the meth goes into failsafe there is two wires one grounds out in a failsafe condition the other goes to 12v+ so want to connect to either a sensor of the ecu to retard timing
  19. Wondering if any Fabia 5j ecu experts can tell me if you can attach a failsafe wire at Either 12v positive or a failsafe ground that goes either positive or negative In a error scenario to cut timing ? cheers guys

Evening guys few updates for you finally everything is wired up and ready to rock and roll ready for mapping on Monday. i added a few picture in of my acceleration pedal sensitivity button aswell pictured below that I have had installed for Around four years now. the greddy Profec OLED just needs some double sided sticky tape for above the steering wheel and the water meth with the failsafe gauge working getting a gauge pod fabbed up and painted as we speak and a little video below had to compress the quality due to 10mb max upload hope everyone has a good weekend IMG_4111.mov IMG_4111.mov

  23. Try rtmg performance in Sheffield they might be able to sort it out but not sure as they mainly deal in petrols
  24. It’s hard to tell mate as usually injector one is fed first off the common fuel rail so is rich with fuel maybe injector 3 at 0.1353 mg/stroke? As it’s strange as the last injector is fuelling more than injector 3 ?
  25. Hi mate I had this problem it was like there was no power steering and it was a steering rack problem I think one of the hydraulic lines was crushed
