Oh No another mk2 VRS (2011) Over heating issues
Would be interested in the old engine if you are stripping it as want to forge one

Oh No another mk2 VRS (2011) Over heating issues
Good call or I have had this when a system has not been bled properly and has a massive air lock trying running it without the cap on while stationary let it get upto temp and see what happens

Car won't drive or rev past 2000 rmp
Just because they say they have changed then 1 doesn’t mean they have & 2 doesn’t mean they have used the correct spark plug and gapped them correctly which is crucial in these engines

Car won't drive or rev past 2000 rmp
This garage is having your pants down , if they have changed the intake they could of cracked the little pipe that connects to it which causes misfires, I would personally , get £40 worth of spark plugs in it gapped at the correct mm and take it from there

Misfire Mk2 Fabia Vrs
Good call mate , a stretched timing chain would cause a misfire on all cylinders can you video the sound of the engine on idle
-
Misfire Mk2 Fabia Vrs
Sounds like timing related if all cylinders are misfiring

P008700 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low
Changed the alternator

P008700 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low
I put everything on lights, ac , radio and was barely getting 13v when now I get around 14v on idle under load
-
P008700 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low
I had this problem and it was the alternator not giving enough voltage to keep the fuel rail pressure high enough , was enough to run car though

AMD's 2 litre 304bhp 162mph Fabia Monte Carlo TDi *6 speed conversion*
Let’s be realistic here mate , what kind of power and torque you gonna get from anything else than that Skoda you have it’s an absolute machine just imagine it with dsg Kevlar clutches and launch control ... would be rs3 territory and your looking at 40-50k for one of them new , guess if you wanna let me have the fastest Skoda fabia mk2 (in the uk) on here then be my guest would say 4-4.5 k is silly , surely you can fit a mk2 vrs seven speed in it as the mountings will be the same etc ? LGM off here is selling all the bits off his vrs mk2 at reasonable prices

AMD's 2 litre 304bhp 162mph Fabia Monte Carlo TDi *6 speed conversion*
Still should be able to fit a dsg to it ?
-
AMD's 2 litre 304bhp 162mph Fabia Monte Carlo TDi *6 speed conversion*
Stick a dsg in it with Kevlar clutches then you’ll really be putting power down , should be able to do it as the caddy vans have auto gearboxes and that engine is from a caddy isn’t it ?

Another Turbo Actuator problem .....
This is what you need to do http://mygolfmk7.com/2019/08/wastegate-first-adaptation-charge-pressure-actuator-p2563/

Another Turbo Actuator problem .....
Sounds to me like on certain occasions the wastegate is allowing the turbo to make too much boost causing the car to go into limp mode or throw up an emission fault did you set the rod to the exact same length as the old rod you replaced? As the tighter you go with the rod the more the wastegate will stay closed thus creating more boost, also I’ve read on other forums multiple times that once the turbo actuator is replaced or even the uprated shims added that it effectively has to be re programmed in vagcom to accommodate the replaced actuator even if a actuator is replaced for the exact same type of actuator it still needs to be reprogrammed!

Skoda fabia 1.2htp turbo project
I think the stupidity in this post is killing my brain cells off, you have nothing controlling boost, I doubt that a 1.2 HTP even has the capability to spool that turbo up to make it efficient you need a tiny turbo to generate any really gains , would be more fun supercharging it

Another Turbo Actuator problem .....
Try wd40 on the shaft buddy should buy you some time

HELP needed Skoda fabia vrs 1.4 been sat 15 months
It’s either not fueling due to what you fitted or immobiliser related

Best spark plugs for Fabia VRS mk2?
What’s the bias on NGK plugs they are a good solid plug, every winter without fail (standard engine standard tune) I would get emission warning lights when booting it while using the denso plugs, it’s unfair to use the statistics of failure rates to NGk plugs because most garages fit them futhermore I doubt any plug would be able to withstand the abuse the failed plugs received with engines burning oil, gumming up the plugs on those standard rubbish coil packs , half the reason those plugs get gummed up is due to that yet when someone un biased to them comments that just because certain people don’t run them they are a waste of money , I’ll let you in on a little secret if you run the R8 coil packs you don’t have to start gapping the plugs to within an inch of there life
