  1. Sepulchrave is right I think the back brakes account for 5-15% of braking in the fabia which if you want to add weight with bigger fatter brakes on the back for 5-15% of braking be my guest
  2. High guys I’ve bought a greddy Profec map adapter for my Fabia vrs im just wondering where you would get these signals from in the photo below cheers guys 😌😀
  3. Deffo the feature where when you hold the unlock /lock button the windows go down and up
  4. Sepulchrave is right as I was going to suggest that but he’s beat me to it , best way to try this out is put the key in ignition and put it to the click just before it turns over and leave it for a few seconds the glow plug light will come on and start warming up then go off then try and turn it over it should start faster 💪🏻
  5. Happy Sunday guys, small update, was considering the Fabia as complete but can just not avoid tinkering with her. So I’ve got a few toys to still add on before I class her as ‘complete’ I just cannot stop myself and I guess you guys are the exact same with you cars? so the plan of action for the car in the long run . fit wideband AEM failsafe AFR gauge I’ve just got at a cheap price second hand, . Get Fabia on a dyno to see what it makes in low boost mode with no meth on . Add ten % reduced size supercharger pulley and see if it makes any more low end torque / BHP . Get on dyno and see what it makes with new pulley/on meth/ on high boost setting
  6. If so why do dark side developments make a conversion kits specifically for when you want to run more power?
  7. You can always fit a smf on a dmf if money is an issue aswell they do conversion kits
  8. Yea I got a prototype made mate as if the gains are good I’m going to start selling it as a kit with the tensioning tool , so when people’s water pumps fail they can do the change at the same time , I think the way to go balls out on this engine is to be forward thinking and go electronic Assisted supercharger , electronic assisted turbo then it really would be instant power
  9. I’ve still got the smaller pulley mate it’s just a massive job to do so haven’t got round to it , the belt is on a tensioner so the original belt will still work , as you can see there’s a comparison side by side original vs 10% reduction
  10. Also ruff you got a link to what s3 injectors you used with what spray pattern and what gold r valve springs you used im looking at stiffening my valve springs
  11. Surely a 10% reduction in supercharger pulley would give you a gain of some sort ?
  12. That won’t work bro as I have a cthe unit but the ecu is still From the Cav so it still comes up as a Cav
  13. As if you have nothing better to do than troll through old posts 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
  14. Glad someone agrees absolute waste of time and effort even replying to him
  15. You love to go off tangent don’t you , the op just wants to know wether he has a cave or cthe engine in his car 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
  16. If your worried about money just get the one faulty injector replaced , how anyone can guess The other injectors shelf life just because one has faulted Is beyond me
  17. Looks good bro what turbo is that it looks BIG
  18. Apology accepted! #batterygate
  19. Yea you can get a greddy Profec OLED and get the map adapter which has boost by gear
  20. Could be timing related as my mum had the 1.2 htp and the timing chain jumped a tooth twice on two separate chains eventually killing the engine
  21. Top fix mate! It perplexes me that the wastegate is controlled by an actuator anyway and not by the turbo pressure itself with a solonoid valve inbetween
  22. Well being as mine is running well over 300BHP with water meth fitted front mount intercooler hybrid turbo and all ancillaries by me? I would say I’ve learned a lot in six years enough to know a goosed battery or loose connection when I hear one 🤣😂
  23. I’m not being funny but 1 how can you scan the obd if the battery is goosed 2 maybe the op doesn’t have an obd scanner and the battery is a consumable part and having had the same issue myself I knew what the op was trying to portray as did the other three people who commented saying it was the same thing 3 I’ve tinkered around with the Fabia vrs mk2 for years I knew practically every fault under the sun As everyone knows they are prone to faults
  24. Don’t start this mate I can tell without even diagnosing it , it’s either a loose battery connection or the battery’s goosed or the alternator isn’t charging the battery a simple battery tester would suffice
