It was brought to the attention of the service advisor that there small bubbling around the fuel filler cap when the vehicle had its 11 year service, once the full service history including all the extended scope inspections had been carried out were confirmed, the dealership dealt with the issue in accordance with the Škoda TPI resulting in it being booked into a Škoda approved body shop for repair under the 12year anti perforation warranty

We have just got our 2014 Citigo back from having the rear offside panel replaced under the Škoda 12 year anti perforation warranty, we have owned the car from new and having a full Škoda service history including the extended scope inspections were crucial to this successful warranty claim, which also included the fitting of wheel arch liners to prevent the rust returning
  4. The attachment below is from the 06/25 brochure , The first attachment was from the 11/25 brochure so you should be ok
  5. Perhaps they were 2025 models as they didn’t have a heated screen as part of the winter package
  6. You should be okay , according to the latest brochure the Kodiak optional winter pack includes a heated front screen

A6DTH & thamestrader , The off road button is part of the performance package which is standard on Sportline Edition models but was an over £1000 option on some earlier models which may be why you don’t have on your cars From the 2024 Karoq Brochure “Performance Package. Driving Mode select with ECO function and DCC (Dynamic chassis control). Hill start assist/hill descent control (only for 4x4 engines)

If it is switched on in the infotainment system menu when the lights are in auto mode then by pushing the lever forward in the direction of the arrow the the matrix is in operation, it does require the ambient light level to be low to work properly . I found that the owner’s manual described the operation quite well
  10. In the handbook for my 2025 Karoq Sportline it says The Dynamic Light Assist can be activated or deactivated in the Infotainment system menu
  11. The way mine has been set up is the bong is normally when you move from one speed zone to another ie 30➡️40 and the dings are if you are driving over the speed limit perceived by the Sat Nav

  13. We have had it twice on my Wife’s Citigo where both Dip Beam bulb elements have failed at the same time , as the bulbs are easy to take out it is well worth checking them

We had this recently on my Wife’s 2014 Citigo, a friend cancelled the fault code but when it came to MOT time the car failed due to high emissions, we had the post cat sensor changed but unfortunately it failed it’s retest as the emissions were still too high, in the end we had to get the Cat replaced, with a new Cat it passed the MOT at the third attempt
  15. I had the following observation on last years MOT Nearside Front Shock absorbers has light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b)) Offside Front Shock absorbers has light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b)) This years MOT with still the same shock absorbers no observations
  16. I was thinking about doing this to our Karoq and wondered if anyone ever converted the rear centre arm rest cigarette lighter in the Karoq to USB’ s with one of the kits from AliExpress. If so was it successful and are there any problems
  17. In the Latest UK Kodiak Brochure it lists as options: Electric tow bar with adaptor. Electric tow bar with adaptor and trailer assist. Only available in combination with Driving Assistance Plus Package. But the UK Karoq Karoq doesn't mention it however the latest Karoq owners manual explains how to use it but you must have park assist ,I was trying to find out if anyone knew if it was available as an option on UK vehicles ? Tom Trailer assist helps when you reverse with the trailer.
  18. Suggest that you speak to whoever fitted the new Mechatronic Box. My car was at the Dealer recently and they requested that I took both keys with me in case they had to reprogram the Immo
  19. I was aware that it was possible to get Trailer Assist on a Kodiak , I just wondered if anyone knew if you can get it as an option on a Karoq ?

  21. I would agree with Tilt we had Xenon headlights on our Yeti but the LED headlights on our Karoq are much better for driving

  23. Hi I have an “Audi Protective Cap for trailer hitch swivel ball head” on mine when not in use , Audi part no 8r0803910 It is designed to let the water drain away when the ball is stored out of the way
  24. Richter Automotive fitted the genuine ŠKODA towbar to my Yeti in 2012 , very friendly , professional and competent people
