  1. I assume you have had it scanned for any possible stored codes? But AFAIK whatever fault on the braking system would fire up relevants indications..
  2. I would like to ask if the height adjusters (front/back) from Xenon range can be able to report any fault code in case of mulfunction/broken part themselves? Last days/weeks i think when heavier load in back, the right projector's beam aims i think somehow a lot higher.. I have not made any adjustments in the lightning modules, just changed the shocks in all wheels but this was a year back. Do those levers fail anytime and possibly affected from other reasons?
  3. Thanks, that sounds good procedure.
  4. So as per title, wife's spoiled some of filter coffee with sugar (brown) on the climatronic panel 😠.... Some buttons now stuck.... Is it good idea to spray from front side some electronics contact cleaner fluid, I believe it can get inside in the contacts so that could help clean and release?
  5. Ok, thank you both, yes it's not that much of concern actually is something not to look at all. When main equipment change which is canbus comunicating, those issues can often show up. So, I'll move on with it..
  6. thanks Varroom , Sorry foto was a fast step as was from another computer not connected to internet.. Yes, it is obviously the Can not finds the module 56 radio. I'll check this out later and report if ok, I have suspicion will remove Audio/Navi menus from Maxidot then?....
  7. hello , After replacing Coloumbus with a Dynavin , the following error 01305 has stacked on the Canbus. I have tried clearing but it comes up again. ive heard maybe low voltage bat could be related to this ? but It suggests does not find the factory unit , so i wonder if possible to cease this error ? Attached photo of the log. Thanks
  8. Bad software/firmware written in ROM. It possibly needs re-flashing to cure, a friend had a relevant issues and fixed by such way AFAIR.
  9. Hi, As per title , now that hot summer days have come, car when been hot under sun, all the internal black handles they all produce annoying creaking noises when pulling or pushing by hand. Door cards haven't been removed at all yet. Tried some silicone spraying thougougly as possible through slits but didn't prove to help (not having disasempled any of them). Would the only solution be to replace with new parts to eliminate at all? Thanks for any recomm.
  10. Ok, thanks I'll try that, sounds reasonable. Actually I've never adjusted anything related, so thinking how much to unscrew as the years have probably pressed the sealing rubber down and so not to cause water increse then...
  11. Hi all , A noise is heard when over pumps and anomalies , it is possibly sourced from the boot door somehow... I tried and had really everything out from boot (also spare wheel space), removed black boot tray but no avail. it does not seem to be related with suspension as shocks have been new since some months and this noise was there before that also . I can mostly hear that from inside the cabin in the back. I suspect the boot door may take any adjustments after 13 years as it could produce the noise in car's distorsions under motion over pumps? Has anyone faced similar ?
  12. AFAIK the injectors should be placed in the injector cleaner for some hours, this is the best cleaning procedure . As they are a highy cost parts , should be handled with care. When i did first time in 140k (km), idle consumption was showing 0,7 lt/h and after cleaning all intake and parts first thing noticed dropped down to as new stable 0,5lt/h as per computer indication . Sometimes it goes lower to 0,4. Never had any misfire or judders though .. But this is very essential for all direct-injected motors to be carried over.
  13. yes sorry , 60k in miles seems resonable..
  14. It is suggested the procedure is done every 80k for keeping optimum condition. Fuel quality plays a role here though.
  15. Happy new Year! As per title, i want to take apart the back HID lamp cover headlamp from tha ballast module, but the inside cabling (2 cables + silver hgh voltage ) clip i do not find how to remove . Anyone done already ?
  16. Thanks Golf-fiend, I'll arrange someday to do so. I'll post same view photo as a comparison then.
  17. Some photos with bulb lighten to show if it is considered as a milky one Sorry for not cleaning the cover of it was necessary..
  18. ok, i'll light it in night time and see it from an angle view , i'll attach photo to confirm - thanks
  19. so this projector ball, how does this seem - not bad?
  20. Yeah I agree , high beam I find not to diffuse light a lot up-down rather than targeting almost all in front and far in a narrow cone, not to end in excess output but where you need all the light. My Suzuki Ignis though has a completely different variation, it diffuses the light all around in front due to having a big and wide lens design
  21. Osram very good ones too. Having referred and talked about the condition of the headlights themselves perviously, how do yours look like? Do they seem to have the aged foggy projectors or are clear?
  22. When you find the chance to have the bulbs replaced, come back and let know what the difference will be with some info. Good luck!
  23. Depending on the fog, you may need not to use high beam...... High beam hitting fog, may dramatically reduce your vision in a lot short distance due to excess light thrown on the fog in front of the car and thus normally differentiate the pattern of high beam. Better reduce light output from higher level of the car and use the lower, like the fog lights. Tha's why they are there. Personally I find the high beam not bad and use it when want to throw and focus light far more ahead that the xenons do not reach and when I'm allowed to do so. I do not see much of light to escape wide and out of range, but getting most of the light in a long distance cone in front.. So perhaps any possible adjustment is required. Merry Christmas!
  24. Nice, this is just what I thought... Just choose a decent good quality, not cheap ones. Merry Christmas!
  25. HID lamps from MK2 if I recall correctly is D1S.
