Do you have a pre-facelift RS230 or a facelift 230 ? Because the pre-FL RS230 had a specific exhaust vs rs220 and it sounds quite nice.

My O3 (2013) with the 1.8 180 with DQ200 now has 185000km and the DSG has always been flawless. I had before a Fabia RS (2010) 1.4 tsi 180 dsg7 and the DQ200 also performed nicely (sold at 125000km). Just have the oils changed regularly (like a DSG6).

Did mine yesterday ! Went quite smoothly

I have a 1.8 tsi 180 with 183000km and it drives perfectly, as well as the dsg7 (dq200). the 1.4tsi is usually enough, the 1.8 tsi gives you the little more that makes the car enjoyable

IMO the USB in our O3 is only designed for plugging usb memory sticks, therefore current output only needed to be quite low.

I did it this spring. Quite easy, just take your time and have a braker bar for the caliper support bolts. And check the bolt patterns, I had to by the bits.

Was it hot with AC when you had these noises ? I get the same kind of noises, sounding like gaz pressure relief. Always when the AC is working hard.

Basically all MQB multi-link 2WD rear axles are the same. I installed new standard links, there was no difference Edit: the club sport rarb ref is 5Q0 511 305 BA same part number, suffix indicates the variant. It will fit perfectly

Slightly stiffer rear axle, not sporty yet, but more controlled roll. For a 80€ upgrade (2nd hand) it was worth it. If I had found the 3.6mm I may have gone for it.

I did the same mod fitting a golf GTI 21.7x3.0mm (5Q0511305AT). Perfect fit It works nicely.

Here're some pictures with the old vents. You have to pry the tabs with a long thin flat crew driver. It's not always easy to squeeze the screwdriver in the tab. When it's in, you pry it open. The good news is that as you change whole vent, it's not a big deal if you over-bend / brake the tabs. Fitting back the new vent is just pushing them back in place

508 and Merc are not hybrids with loads of battery in the trunk ... Nevertheless it's still quite bad...

Super easy fit, 4 tabs to pry per vent Mine were from ebay (scrapped) about 80€ with shipping for all 3 front vents.

Mine also broke, I changed all vents in the end (from ebay).
