  1. I'm interested, would you be up for swapping with a HTC Desire??? I know your an iPhone person I guess this is a no no. Do you have a price in mind??
  2. Hey just to add my 2p worth in...I have a Panasonic SD700 that does 1080p and 60p and I run that on a 32gb class 4 card with no issues at all.
  3. I have extensively driven a 05 Ambient with manual lumbar support...And I could tell the difference when turning it only a little bit. Also my on 56 L&K with electric lumbar support (amazing) moves in and out and also up and down! If you can feel a difference when turning it...there is something wrong! Get it sorted with the dealer!
  4. I've had a look at these before...but its worth mentioning what model you have, and what type of engine, and estate or hatch as the OEM ones are quite specific to the weight of the cars.
  5. Is there anything else you would need to upgrade to the VRs setup?
  6. I don't know about the columbus...but I've paired a HTC magic with my bury 9060 kit and that worked a treat, however my HTC Hero will only sync the names and no numbers. However if I add another number manually on the phone...then it will work! Never tried it with the Columbus, but would love to know if you get it working as so tempted to get one!
  7. That the trim I have, but the Silver still looks alright with it!
  8. I think the glass for the dimming mirrors are £100+ each!
  9. Hi guys, had a few PM's but the bonnet lifter is now sold! Thanks guys! Cheers
  10. Android is awesome. For a start this forum renders properly compared to pocket ie. Also if you want slick interface and don't want to be stuck with an iPhone then this is your only option. I for one can't stand apple and what they do. (My opinion only) I think the devices are still early days yet. But in my opinion this is best smart phone out at the moment.
  11. Cheers, I've found some roms that sync everything and some roms that just sync names and no numbers. Unfortuantley the rom I liked only did names!! But thats in the past now, as the TyTn2 has been relegated to the drawer and the Hero is main phone Love android!
  12. Another quick question...does the BT car kit cache the addresses? Or load them each time it connects? How does this work with multiple phones if caching? How many phones can it cache?! Cheers guys
  13. Well I'm thinking next time its due for a service...its might be getting a bit more oomph under the bonnet! If I'm getting crap MPG might as well make use of the engine!
  14. I feel your pain!! I've had my car for about 2 1/2 years! And my long term average has never gotten over 40mpg! I the commute to work..I tend to get around 34-38mpg! When our company used to have a 1.9tdi pool car...I was getting 50+ on the same commute driving harder!
  15. Well I'm not sure with the Skoda one...but with the Bury kit it only syncs my name and not numbers with the TyTn2 (With current Rom) However my old Rom worked fine. With the HTC Magic all names and numbers synced flawlessly. With HTC Hero on Orange all names but no numbers sync. Getting the HTC Hero (G2 Touch) tomorrow so will test that as well with the bury and let you know. Seems to be hit and miss and depends on the ROM.
  16. Hi Guys, Just wondering if any of you lot have the HTC Hero and the Skoda BT carkit? I have the Bury 9060 kit in my company car, and that only syncs the names not the numbers. Wondering if that was the same for the HTC Hero. Or if anyone is close to Eccles with the Skoda BT kit, and doesn't mind me testing it with the Hero, please let me know. Cheers in advance!
  17. He is thinking more of a full payout rather than repairs. Ie a BMW with 15k worth of extras, if they were to write of the car..they would not take into account the optional extra's. He has been specifically told by some insurers on a total write off that they would not pay out for the options, if it was repair then they would have to fix it.
  18. Thanks But the problem he is encountering, he wants to declare all optional extras which is not a problem as he is ok with the premium hike if there is one...just wants to make sure that they will pay out for the same options if an accident happens. Some companies have asked him to pay extra, but will only pay out for a standard car. Example you fully loading a VRS adding up to 20K+ and you declare the optional extras. When its time to claim, they pay out for a standard VRS for about 4-5k less even though they took premiums for optional extras.
  19. Hi guys, My bro is looking for insurance and he needs it asap. Thing is he has a car with lots of optional extras (some very expensive) and would like to know if there is an insurer who will insure them and if anything happened would pay for the optionals as well. A lot of them ask for them to be declared and only play for the standard items in a claim. :thumbdwn: Let me know if any come to mind. Thanks
  20. I'm in a similar dilemma. My dad has a pink/red Vauxhall Corsa 54 reg. Anyway last weekend I gave it some serious elbow grease with AG SRP and brought it back to its complete glory of red. However as soon as I tried to put on any wax...it went pink again! Next step was gonna be t-cut or something a bit more abrasive. Rather do this myself and put money into products than pay someone else (no offence intended). Any one got any ideas on this?! Might get him to take it back as its got a 10 year body warranty!
  21. Personally out of that list I would go for the Goodyear F1's Or as a cheap alternative...Falken 452's probably around £60 per corner. Also you might get more response in the Octy2 section
  22. Yep, the rule tends to be...the older they are, the harder they pull at the handles!
