Just bought 2.0TDi L&K
vimto2000 replied to bunglebear32's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Not sure...just keep an eye out on ebay to be honest! I'm still running the same tyres that I got on my Zeniths...albeit only covered 11k on them and they were nearly new. I bought mine from ebay with tyres for roughly £450 and roughly sold my vegas for about £200. So not too much to upgrade the wheels! I think the ride was much better with 16's tho...but I think thats due to the extra weight and different suspension set up to the VRS. But either way they look much cooler on 18's -

The L&K he bought was an Elegance with the Leather pack...so had the vega's like my old ones. The new one from 2007 March/April had the sptuniks. -

Tell me what you think

I priced up doing the front bumper, and rear bumper to the RS. Thats supplied, sprayed and fitted. Was coming up to over 1k. So thought I'll leave the rubber strips on mine! -
I'm not sure how you can see its aggressive. I would have easily mistaken that for a current one??!

Lol I guess I'm the tightest!! I offered £280 hoping he'd reject it. But instead he countered it with £320!! So I'm gonna wait a little while longer! -

I contacted Witson. Basically if a group buy were to go ahead, there would need to be a rough order of 10 units. Although the units to buy wouldn't be a bad price, but to account for customs and delivery it would be roughly £300 give or take some £££ Problem is you talking about purchasing £3000 worth of kit from china. If any items come through faulty then you have to send item back to china in pre-package for it to be repaired. ZHUHAI WITSON INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD. To be honest...I don't think i'll be willing to take up the task. But if anyone else in dealing with it, i'll pass on all information. To be honest I rather see one in the flesh, and go through a non hassle way of buying on ebay. -

From my experience with windows CE...everything will have issues. Its just whether you can live with it! As for DVD play back in the front...I doubt its gonna be a feature I would use, except when showing off (don't have any kids)! -

Yeah but I rather not have a camera in the bumper, just use existing sensors and cables. It looks more like an OEM display but fancier. igoraladev — «P1000240.jpg» на Яндекс.Фотках -

It also looks like it does the visual for the rear parking sensors! But prefer the look of the ebay one for Sat Nav -

Well if you cave in and get one...let me know -
As its for you dad, and by the sounds of it...he doesn't care for speed! Go for the 1.9tdi. A lot less kick in the back when the turbo kicks in, and you can't beat the fuel economy!

Looking at this pic...igoraladev — «P1000240.jpg» на ЯндекÑ.Фотках You get a visual display for the reverse parking sensors! Is this with the factory fitted ones? Or is this something after market?!?! Its getting awfully tempting! Might have to sell my Audience system to finance this! Just want to see one in flesh :( -
I definitely like the look, but I can't help thinking the side scoops need to be colour coded on any other car apart from black!

If anyone gets one that is around Manchester let me know! I'll be only tempted after I see one in the flesh. Too much money to be taking gamble! -
Last time I went India....Last year Feb. There were loads of them! I was shocked as wasn't expecting there to be soo many. Esp as I just bought one around then!

car washed and fitted milotek lower grill
vimto2000 replied to micndiesel's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Personally I prefer the Milotec grill to the standard one. However I agree with Bahnstormer, the chrome needs to be black. However I'm not sure about the vents. I would say they would look better colour coded! Here is the pics of mine with and without the grill: -
I lie... no pics!

I think there is a pic of one in Makefish's photo thread, look ok...but depends on the colour of the car!
