  1. Hi, I have a Skoda Octy IV and a nextbase dashcam. I bought a short cable and adapter from eBay and it all works perfectly. Hope this helps
  2. 2023 IV Octy. Spare is perfect fit, no problems with floor lifting
  3. To turn off speed camera warnings on a 2026 Skoda Octavia vRS, access the infotainment screen, locate the Traffication app, and disable alerts within its settings, or delete the app. Speed limit warnings can be muted in navigation settings or disabled in the driving assistant settings, though these may reset per trip.
  4. Fuel tank size is 45 litres
  5. Found this on google, hope it helps
  6. No I was told nothing but then like I said it is under warranty so if they had messed it up then they would have to sort it out but luckily it went ok and is now working properly
  7. Had my screen replaced because it kept rebooting after OTA update. Running 1989 and all good but replaced under warranty on 2023 Mk4
  8. Hi, had the very same thing happen to me. After a couple of visits to the dealer they replaced the head unit with a new one, under warranty of course. Been ok ever since
  9. I’ve got my nextbase 322 connected via the socket on a short cable. Works very well
  10. Yes the very same on mine so could it be the radio stations themselves ?
  11. My Octy 2023 has a few logo badges like BBC and a couple of others but not Smooth radio. Tried the “install logo” button in settings but no joy.
  12. Could try getting into smart link and turn off notifications. Sorry don’t know much about smart link as I use apple car play but good luck. I’m sure someone on here has had the same and will advise
  13. Yes usb-c socket by the rear view mirror. Fitted a Nextbase in my Octy just need to buy a shorter power cable Bought these for a neat fit on EBay
  14. I’m sure I’ve seen a get round for this on THIS site somewhere. Have a look around the different topics regarding infotainment.
  15. I was told on Friday when I picked up my used October (2023) that I was covered until the warranty expires (2026) then I need to renew or find alternative
  16. Hi, I would assume that ringing ŠKODA Sasist with your reg number will identify the car as “ under warranty” and therefore has breakdown cover for that duration
  17. Battery checked all ok. Disconnected stop/start at negative terminal then put battery on my charger for a full charge, been ok since
  18. My Fabia had this problem with the stop/start and msg on the info system saying battery was low. Disconnected the stop/start on the negative terminal of the battery and no more low battery warnings.
  19. Hi fellow Skodians, I have a 2016 Fabia 1.2 tsi dsg and on the last 2 mot’s have been advised that I have “cracking” in between the treads of my tyres. The treads themselves are all above 4mm however these are the tyres that were on the car when I bought it from new and the mileage is 21k. There is a bit of wear on the inner fronts so had the alignment checked and that was ok. Is it worth me swapping the wheels around?
  20. I would also look at how much you are going to use the car bearing in mind the 2016 will be £20 road tax as where the 2018 will be £140
  21. The garage I went to in my area comes highly recommended from lots of returning customers. I actually watched him drive the car in and also watched him set his gear up. He called me in to show me that the laser light was pointing to where it should be, so at no point was any adjustments made
  22. The tracking & alignment was free as I had requested it and they don’t charge if there are no alterations. I’m wondering if it’s down to the advisories on a previous mot
