  1. Happened me as well, 9 of 10 times the door will not lock and warning signal sounds, but then it was this 10 time...🤥
  2. Booked in july 12, occasional reeboots and reverse camera freeze and flickers. Holding my thumbs... Thanks all for sharing.
  3. Hi, My update was for a module dont know which, still on 1896 but Travel and Trafic Assists warnings are now gone. My workshop was informed by Skoda tech that there was no more need of changing the steering wheel.
  4. Sadly, one reeboot this weekend. It came with a parking assistant fault. After two seconds error cleared and stable again. However travel assistant error when using heated steaaring wheel is still gone.
  5. I do not have any ODB11 to check but infotainment is at 1896. It did not change after the update at the workshop.
  6. Hi, have/had similar high pitch in my MHEV, but it seems to be more seldom knowadays. Car is 2 years. Maybe I am getting older and loosing abiöity to hear high frequencies.😂
  7. Almost a week since update at workshop, no travel assist alerts and no reeboots, keeping my fingers crossed😬
  8. Hi, you are not alone.. In the thread below you can find more reboot problems.
  9. Hi, ive been waiting for a new steering wheel since march. But last week my car had a blackout (completly dead) and have been at the workshop since then. Today i picked it up and was surpriced when they said that both problems was solved by a software update. They cancelled the backorder for the steering wheel and was very confident that it was no need for that any more. I will know after a while...
  10. Hi all, back from workshop today. They told me that they had done a software update which should have solved all my three problems. Infotainment reboot, travel assistant bong-bong alert when steering wheel heating is on and once a blackouted car. Now, its just to see if this is true, no problems today so far... My infotainment is still on 1896, so i have no clue on what parts/computers was updated.
  11. Same here, for a couple weeks ago, it started to reboot in the first 10 minutes in car. Occasionally with an error from parking assistant as well. After one or two reboots, its stable. But today the car was completely dead so its in the workshop now.
  12. Hi all, before going to dealer have anyone with Heads Up Display the same problem as I have? When the sun is standing low and coming from behind of the car my HUD display is distorted. When lokking down on the HUD "Window" in the dashboard it looks greasy with maybe fingerprints. It is not on the top of the glass so it is impossible to clean off. Anyone? Best.
  13. I have the 1.0 e-tec hatch (2021) and similar driving patterns as you. We are three in the family and mostly the car is not fully loaded. In my opinion the 1.0 lite engine with e-tec gives you a very nice driving experience, only thing is that you have to force it (full kickdown) to get the rpm up when overtaking others on narrow swedish roads. Fuel economy is very good, long trips 63-65 mpg and with shorter trips around 56-58 mpg.
  14. Sorry to hear that afterservice is so poor. I had a very similar problem with my Octavia MKIII. Unlocked but did not open. I tried to lubricate the rubber sealings with silicon lubricant made for rubber seals and the problem went away. I think the "stickiness" of the rubber seals was enough to prevent the boot motors to open. Absolutely no guarantee that this will work for you but I was really surpriced that this little thing prevented it to happen again.
  15. I had the same problem, got a advice that with the battery out from the keyfob, press a button for 10 sec. After doing that my warnings disappered and the new battery is working fine.
