  1. I've got four - aged 4, 3, 2 and 7 months and the main family bus is a Citroen SpaceTourer (8seats). I am swapping my Superb for a Kodiaq just so that I have the potential of getting everyone in the same car in case we ever need it. The older two will just have to take their chances in booster in the third row if needed....
  2. So having looked at the price list that is now on the Skoda site it looks like the textile mats are no longer standard. If an order was accepted with them as part of the spec should I expect my dealer to supply them as part of the deal - if so I'll get him to supply me rubber ones instead. No mention of digital dash though....
  3. I have had full rubber mats and the transmission tunnel cover in each of my Superbs and the same is on the cards for the Kodiaq - once it arrives!
  4. Here you go... http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/KODIAQ/Floor-mats-Carpets/
  5. Slightly off topic - but still relevant - when they say that the Edition comes with Textile mats does this include the mats for the third row? Also why do the insist on giving you textile mats on the premium models when the rubber ones are so much better at keeping the car clean?
  6. Don't forget price rises come in on the 3rd July with rises in optional extras as well.
  7. Let's just say they matched and slightly bettered the best I could get from car wow and that was good enough for me.
  8. A 4x4 is handy for where I live at the top of a hill which means that when it's snowy I can't get home and out to work. Also I think that a manual more suits my driving style at the moment
  9. Well I decided that I could not really justify the cost of the DSG over the manual and since most of my driving is long motorway runs where I normally stick it in 6th and put on the ACC I've just ordered a manual. Good deal arranged through Marshalls at Croydon - tell Wayne I sent you!
  10. Yep, 4kids, hence the need for a Kodiak - the wife has an 8 Seat Citroen Space Tourer - the colour changing lights should keep them amused for a bit. I have drive personalisation on the Superb at the moment and it stops the wife changing all of my radio presets and also means that I don't get blasted by the radio when she has left the volume up! I don't have the camera on the Superb and have never struggled - do miss the front sensors that were standard on my old Focus so have added those as an option this time. That seems like a good deal. At the moment I am looking at around 14% off list price (including the £2k deposit contribution, but excluding the test drive £1000 as the car won't be here by the cut off point. No fuel card available at the moment. That's the way I'm feeling at the moment. If I go for the Kodiaq it needs to be a long term purchase so do not want to regret not ticking a box now....the big question is "At 38 am I too young for an automatic?"
  11. Factory order for the DSG is 19weeks and 24weeks for the manual!
  12. Assistance Package 1 - it looks like the pricelist that I have is slightly different to yours. On the new one its a £350.00 add-on for the Edition. Its only available with a DSG. I need the diesel to keep the company happy on my car allowance....as the economy on the petrol does not hit my target figure. I am doing that as well but because of other offers - e.g. test drive £1000 off - which will not be valid for a factory order I am trying to get the price as low as possible.
  13. Hi looking to trade-in my Superb (2017) for a new Kodiaq. Is any prepared to share the best deals that they have got recently so that I can haggle with my nearest deal and see what he can do for me? Looking for: KODIAQ EDITION (7 seats) EDITION (7 seats) 2.0 TDI 150 PS 4x4 DSG with the following options: Temporary steel space saver spare wheel (7 seater) 145/85 R18 Heated windscreen LED interior light package Traffic sign recognition Driver assistance package Heated washer nozzles for front windscreen Front and rear parking sensors ISOFIX on front passenger seat Sun visors with mirror, illuminated Was considering a Scout - mainly for the Crater wheels but if I spec it the same as the Edition it does not make sense financially.... Many thanks Nigel
  14. On a run back from East London to the top of the M23 @ Hooley - via the A13, M25, M23 managed to get 80.3mpg - I was in no particular hurry and set the ACC at 56mph! Really impressed with the economy (when I want to play games). 46miles 1:07h 41mph 80.3mpg
  15. Quick question. My normal radio station is Radio 2 but I occasionally tune to 5Live Sports Extra for the Test Match. Now why when I retune to Radio 2 when back in the car does it not remember my setting when I turn the car off and always comes back to 5Live Sports Extra? What can I do to stop it? Thanks Nigel
  16. I find that it takes my about 2k miles to get the seat exactly how I want it. I use the memory presets on the seat to save interim settings and then tweak from the last one each time. If it makes it worse I just go back to my last preset. I had got the seat roughly right over the weekend but a run to Chesterfield yesterday - 180miles - revealed that although OK for short journeys it was not quite right as I got a really bad pain on the right hand side. Tweaking as I drove alleviated the pain and the run home yesterday afternoon was pain free. So I'll stick with these settings for a while and see what happens. What would be great would be if you could download the seat position settings and then copy them across to the new car....
  17. Hot coffee four hours later as well.....
  18. I can confirm that the White Skoda one shown in Silverfox's post does indeed fit perfectly. Also its a bit too effective. I made a coffee over an hour ago and its still too hot too drink... all I've managed to do is remove a layer of skin off of my tongue!
  19. Ordered on the 10th March and collected this afternoon. 2.0TDI 150 SEL Executive. Looks smaller than my silver Mk2
  20. Sorry I do note have the rails in my car.
  21. Hi, I have a genuine Skoda dog guard in my MK2 Estate which is being pex'd on Wednesday. Are the fittings in place for it to go straight in another car? Just trying to decide if its worth that hassle of taking it out and selling it, and the full set of rear blinds as well? Thansk Nigel
  22. Hi just been looking at this post as have a Superb 3 on order. What did you do about the top attachment point for the middle car seat? TIA Nigel
  23. This picture confirms I have made the right colour choice
  24. We've run it through carwow and can get it to about £25% off of list price!
