Bonnet support
As per @ahenners No I went for Febi Bilstein ones. The Superskoda set came in about 50 euros including delivery and I read that they aren't quite as good. Would have taken longer to come too. The Febi struts are perfect in strength, they can lift the bonnet unsupported after initially lifting it. They slow before they come to a stop at maximum extension too. 2x Febi Bilstein 27709 struts. About £14 each from an eBay motorparts seller. 2x M8 ball joints with a 10mm ball head and 25mm thread length: https://www.sgs-engineering.com/x4-ball-extension 2x M6 ball joints with a 10mm ball head and 12mm thread length: https://www.sgs-engineering.com/x2-ball-extension Above ball joints came to a tenner with delivery. 2x M8 and 2x M6 washers. Bought from an eBay seller for a couple of quid. You also need an M10 spline bit to undo the bolt on the bonnet which I didn't already have. Painted the washers and ball joint bolts with a touch up kit I already had to make them blend in and look more OEM. Total cost probably about £42 but happy with the result.

Repacing battery, Coding, Nottingham and thoughts on OBDeleven
https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/2041/battery-replacement https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/4252/coding-new-battery I used this guide for when I changed my battery over last year, I went from an EFB to a AGM & changed the following: Rated battery capacity: Battery manufacturer: Battery serial number: Battery technology: I left as Fleece. My start/stop has been working faultlessly no issues whatsoever. You will get a few error codes pop up on the dash board etc once you change the battery over, code it, then go for a 10 minute drive, read the fault codes again & you will find all should be fine...

Seat Belt Cutting Through Plastic Surround
Out of interest but do the actual seatbelts ever need replacing? I only ask as I was cleaning my interior last week & noticed my drivers side seatbelt is frailing a little with slight fibres towards the edge or seam-line of the seatbelt! It's not really that bad to be fair but when comparing it to the passengers side seatbelt (which looks hardly used) Just wondering if the material of the seatbelts do frail at the edges etc over time? Edit: Think I best check my seatbelt surround in-case it has the same type of problem/issue? Maybe this could be causing the seatbelt to frail slightly if being caught when pulling the seatbelt to put it on...

Premium Floor Mats
I have the original Skoda clip in carpet mats underneath & have Michelin rubber mats on top, no issues with any wearing on the original mats & the Michelin rubber mats are very hard wearing, keeping the original Skoda mats intact. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Michelin-4PC-All-Weather-Rubber-Mat-Set-Black-Heavy-Duty-New/254876490947?epid=23017022509&hash=item3b57d29cc3:g:pioAAOSwhIRgM6Eq

Performance Air Filters
Changing the panel filter from "OEM" to a "K&N" wont make any difference whatsoever! You'd be better off keeping the factory "OEM" but changing to a induction kit like the racingline R600 linked above or https://www.mountune52.com/collections/mk3-octavia-vrs-5e-2014/products/x3-intake will make a difference.

EZ Car Care Products - any good?
Been using EZ for a long time now, even sold some of my other brand detailing stuff as I really like the EZ products. Supercharged Shampoo (Slick & full of suds) A little goes a long way. 5* GTR Glue & Tar (Very Powerful) 5* Sleek Interior (Leaves a non greasy but instant satin dry finish & smells lovely too) 5* Lotus & Clarity glass cleaners (Safe on window tints & great at cleaning glass) 5* Chrome Spray Wax (Very glossy look, easy to apply & not only repeals but nice beads too) 5* Gloss Boss QD (I use this in-between washes, mainly to aid with drying) I have used this also to boost protection with an existing wax. 5* Voodoo (I've not used yet, just in my arsenal) so I can't comment on it. (I can't rate it yet) I don't use anything else from EZ so I can't comment on them but a friend of mine uses their SI02 ceramic wax & is always banging on at me to try it, trouble is!!! I have a few waxes (from the Jayswax range) & I want to finish them off before getting sucked in to the detailing bug again especially as I've not been so active with it like I use to be but still do enjoy it, it's now just a time to time thing for me, well as before it was always every 1-2 weeks at least being outside cleaning/detailing etc.

MIB1 infotainment screen is dying
As sound as what langers2k says I would not buy the screen from www.cars-equipment.com as they like to bump people a fair bit, depends on how the owner is feeling I suppose
