I've just been sent through the details for the registration doc for my new Meteor Grey, 190TDI Edition Kodiaq today. The last 3 initials on the vehicle reg being YAX so have now decided to name it the YAK. Due to it being so big heavy and strong

Looks like the better read up kodiaq owners know what it means Yes one of my guilty pleasures. I'm probably quite a young'n at 22 compared to the rest of the majority of Kodiaq owners lol. So gaming is still part of my life But as mentioned above I'm doing what a lot of other owners are doing making the most of cost savings from the finance and then will be paying it off in full as soon as I can to save on the pennies.

I would presume it stands for additional charges. Could this be for any of the extras on the vehicle or any dealer fit accessories?

After being sat at Emden for over two weeks my car arrived into grimsby on Tuesday (17/7/2018) and am now told I may have to wait up to another two weeks for it to get from grimsby to dealers. I have to say though skoda Facebook Chat based support have been great and could see themselves that the delivery was taking way longer than expected to ship. They finally said enough was enough and raised a higher level support ticket on my behalf to encourage getting my car delivered quicker. So should be able to expect my Kodiaq to arrive some where around the beginning-middle of August on all accounts. The dealership had the start of September pencilled in so all in all from order to deliver in looking at about 4 months give or take for a 190TDI Edition Kodiaq.

There's a number of skoda garages dotted along the M5. The one in weston-super-mare where I am I wouldn't overly recommend as they're still quite new and the service dept is a bit hit and mix. I only really use them due to them so local to me. There's Carrs Skoda Bridgwater who seem pretty confident in what they are doing and are about. Further to that there's one in Bristol as well. Overall and if they were closer to me I would always go back to Sinclair skoda Swansea. Really nice group of people both in the sales and service department.

I can whole heartedly feel where you are coming from. I think I'd be second guessing if i was you as well by now. I ordered mine in mid April 190TDI as mentioned before and am crying out for it to be shipped across the water as it has been waiting at emden since before the weekend. If it doesn't get shipped by Monday it will be put on the priority list. Feels like forever already and I only ordered it in mid april.

two main reasons for no start stop is due to a ) not going over 10kph between stops b )lower battery

Is it a DSG or Manual?

This feels a bit like the window issue with the fabia MK3 compared to the mk2. No hold lock button on fob to close them along with no one-touch close either.

Have you been on car wow yet to see what dealers will come up with for you? My local dealer will beat/meet a car wow quote.

It's a Marmite colour meteor grey. I'm on the love side!

The meteor grey machine is now on its way to the exit port. There will be a set of black trigalav alloys waiting for it when it gets to the dealers!

Looks like I was quite lucky and my 190TDI has been built a week ahead of schedule. So it is now in Transit from the factory to the port of Exit according to SUK Facebook Chat. Any updates on how any 180 TSIs are getting on?

From not seeing a single Kodiaq around Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and the M5 for about a month I have seen 5 in the past couple of days. Black seems to be a surprisingly popular colour for them round here.

By the looks of things. The next biggest factor on delivery time is once the car gets to Emden. Some cars spend only a few days to a week waiting to be assigned as ship. Others can take up to a month.

I would have deleted this thread had I double checked about there being a previous I've never seen the option. Guess that's something only the mods can do lol

Now have a confirmed build week of 25 for the 190 TDI just to give some comparison to the TSI. Order date was 16 April 2018. So over 2 months from order date to build for the 190 TDI. Next step is to see how long from build to handover.
