Hi guys Am I the only one thats going nuts waiting for their car, I've added extras and changed the stitching now I'm thinking of changing from manual to DSG if I can at this stage(waiting on a call from dealer) So is anyone else going nuts? I just want it to be perfect as I plan to keep it for a while and its the first time I've bought a new car. cheers Luke

Think I will go with a remap from revo when my warranty runs out or close to it, over 300hp stage 1 is impressive, hope they crack the 2016 Watching the vids above makes me wish I went with DSG

How far are you in ? I contacted my dealer about 2 weeks from first order and he had to email SkodaUK, I added kessy and got the OK

Congrats :clap: My wife's car was hit outside our house, took drivers details and car reg only to be told the car held no insurance and driver untraceable. Ended up paying for it myself, car still drives around the area but police wont do a thing.

Just had an email from my dealer saying Skoda UK have added Kessy to my order :clap: :sun: so looks like I've answered my own question. cheers

Hi Anyone know what the cut off point is from placing the order to build date to add extras, has anyone done this? I ordered a VRS on 15th Feb but asked my dealer to add KESSY to my order if poss last week as I now want it, he called today saying he has sent a email but he doesn't know if they can add it. Estimated build date is last week in March. cheers Luke

Have been looking at the revo remap for when i get mine but I might wait until the warranty runs out in 3 years before doing it

Saw OFF 4 today on a white maserati

Just emailed me dealer to ask for any update and he said build week should start last week in March and I could have it by the end of April if all goes well, whoop whoop! Excited!

Would you post a pic up when you get it please? Getting mine from the same place in the same color and wouldn't mind seeing a real picture of it, only ordered mine last week so got a while to wait.

Did mine a few weeks before it expired and it came back very quick. I did it all in the post office too, they did it all on their computer, took my photo and I paid with my card, all very simple. cheers

Hi, how long does is normally take from ordering the car and paying the deposit at the dealer to getting a build date? Had a Thank You email from Skoda today but no info or dates. Agreed the sale on Monday and I'm getting excited :sun:

Cheers guys, I emailed my sales guy last night and just had a response saying not a problem they will take it off my order and knock it off the remaining deposit I have to pay when I pick the car up. Cheers

Hi I ordered a new VRS on Monday and was sold on the idea of gap insurance. I agreed to buying it at £499 and this was added to the total price so will be paid off throughout the PCP deal. My sales guy said he'd send me an email and I had to reply confirming I want this (haven't replied). Signed all the paper work and went home waiting for the call to tell me the finance has been approved. Got the call :clap: so started looking into the gap insurance and have found out, 1, my insurance will cover me for the first year and second I can get it much cheaper. So my question is can I change this or because I've signed paperwork I'm now stuck with paying it? My thinking is I've not sent a confirmation reply via email and the cars not due to reach me until end of May so I can alter this. Still have a 3k deposit to pay so it could be taken out of this so payment details stay the same. Thanks for any help Luke

I use carwow to find a discount on my new VRS then took the same deal to my local dealer to hagle, ended up getting slightly more discount so went with them in the end.

Hello I ordered a Octavia VRS 220 TSI manual from lookers on Monday so thought I'd joint up and say hello. Told wait time is around 12 weeks so end of May at the earliest, really excited :clap: First time I've bought a new cars and have been driving a 7 seater C4 Grand picasso for the last 5 years. Went for it in metallic gray with added extras- leather seats/front heated with red stitching, winter pack, folding mirrors, sun glass, smart link and black design pack. Looks forward to my new car.
