  1. Thanks! I need to give it another try then, thought its only for Mirrorlink. Good news
  2. @ccosmin does it mean that just AA phone + OneApp will be able to get those data? Can you please shed more light?
  3. Pixel 3a XL here, Android 10 works perfect with Android Auto and Bolero. Dont give up, something small it is.
  4. @Octavoro, please post few more pictures of the front from different angles. I want to decide on the chrome line between the fog lights but have no option to check it elsewhere. Thank you.
  5. @Octavoro , you made me laugh :) As for the look, I like it. Thinking of putting this silver line between the fog lights as well...cant decide yet
  6. Hi! Is there a smart way to check if my engine has a newer ECU SW released? If yes - how can it be done without visiting the dealer. Maybe some more changelog details....
  7. engine does 163hp ... measured few times, in Golf and Octavia. And is a little bit quicker in flying race, compared to my 2.0 diesel. Tested few times. Advantage in weight.
  8. hi, Yes - brake pedal modifies the sound. I was amazed when you said AC - all sources were pointing to vacuum-oil pump. Some even replaced it and - after 6 months the same. Yes - mine does it. Started from 15k km and same at 40k km. No change in the sound itself, nor perfomance. Cosmetic so far. Talking to various people - same for 100k+ on 2.0 TDI. Started from new, even they were shown brand new cars in the show room - same noise. Some have it louder, some not - but all have it. Strange is that it's slow noise compared to the rotation of the belt in your video. If you find it and record the pump itself please share - at least I know where the beast is
  9. @johnny cabbage head thanks for sharing! Let us know if you have any news. If it's AC then it's safer than being vacuum-oil pump.
  10. EagleRocky, not pleasant at all. Honestly I was not able to replace under warranty. And it makes me feel bad, like I paid for second hand car. Like .. I dont trust it fully. No one however gave feedback that it failed. Up to you how to react on this..
  11. Most probably vacuum-oil pump as we discussed here. If so even new will not fix it. Yours sound bearable to be honest..
  12. Does it disappear after engine heats up to 80 degrees? Mine does, as many others and get rejected for a replacement. Let us know of your progresss.
  13. Bought Turanza T005 based on many possitive reviews in tyrereviews.co.uk both from users and big reviewers. Also some car bloggers from the official presentation on the launch were possitive in comments. Looks like T005 is vastly improved tyre but time will tell. I will put some thoughts after I use them for awhile.
  14. @SurreyJohn yeap, sorry. Main focus is the braking on dry road.Highway driving. Maybe cornering feedback as second priority. Simply - security. When it rains I drive as grandma,no matter the tyres. In general the rain period is not so long here, so not an issue. Thanks all that replies. I am checking the info
  15. Can't decide, very confused...205x55x16 Read many reviews and user comments on tyrereviews.co.uk 1.Turanza T005 2.Firestone Roadhawk 3.Conti CPC5 (+rim protection) 4.Conti CPC6 5.Michelin Premacy 4 6.GoodYear EffGrip Performance Coming to replace Conti EcoContact5 Main criteria is handling & braking. Will keep them for around 40k kms approx. Thank you in advance!
  16. 2.0 tdi 150hp. Mine does all the time 0.2-0.3l/100 km. When the ECU calculate consumption between 4 and 5 l / 100 km. Which is 4-5% delta. Either calibration of ECU or fuel stations do tricks in this range...
  17. I do agree. From my humble experience regen takes similar times (~16km and around 20mins) which can be annoying. Specially once it starts just when you are about to park (around 90% of the cases in town )
  18. do you have the common oil pump knocking noise ?
  19. no need to rev. It depends on the load of the engine to produce heat..Meaning climbing a hill will help more than additional revs. + aircon + other consumers. Revs will help of course but no a must. And not the biggest influencer... basing my statment on real time data monitoring the regen w/ DPF VAG app.
  20. @DaveBrez, no additional glue. Just the 3M that it comes with. So far so good .. I used degreaser but just a little and wiped it very fast.. A good wash and a towel will do it as well. Don't worry just do it. Bear in mind you have to line it, mark, then the sticky 3M lines are to fix both ends (one starts fron right to open it, the other from left). Be careful and press it just if you are sure Good luck!
