You've invalidated your warranty by lowering it I suspect

If you go to your motor factors they'll put your reg in and tell you excactly what oil you need

I've got 2 and neither are notchy

These fancy boxes are all very well , but they add to the initial cost . the running costs and they won't do the miles that a manual will.

I've often thought manufacturers had a "running in" program, but I think you just get used to the driving. I used to drive "on the continent " a lot years ago and fancied my car went better there. I wouldn't be surprised if we in the UK were being tucked up with low grade fuel

Considering vags history, their fuel economy gauge is hardly going to be trustworthy

I had my car go onto limp mode after a fill up . checked filter and it was chocka with water and grit . I suspect I had the dregs of the station tank. Your pump could be struggling against the semi blocked filter

It's 125 k on the mondeo diesel , so I'd imagine something similar for the skoda

So did you change the filter? It can get blocked with one fill up

Don't do it , they look awful and pensioner'esque, they go with driving gloves and werthers sweets
