  1. Think it’s you that doesn’t understand 😂😂😂😂
  2. It is. No basic settings are required 😂
  3. People jump to the conclusion you need to change the full strut when it’s just a wire. Bet you’re glad you posted and saved yourself some money 😅
  4. Yeah that’ll do it.
  5. Just fix the wiring in the strut
  6. There’s a search feature on Facebook. A pretty useful one at that.
  7. Torque values were all met and some of these were on brand new subframes. More than welcome to have a look at all the Facebook groups and you’ll see it
  8. Can’t drop links from private Facebook groups.
  9. Search on the Skoda and Seat Facebook groups
  10. Few folk have had issues with clunking and banging after fitting these to other models that never came with them. If you search the Facebook groups there’s a lot reporting it and not able to find the issue.
  11. Fixed. Managed to find a part number from another vag car. All same coloured cables only difference was the one I found had a white plug and not green. Noticed the plastic guides were different. Swapped the wire to the green plug and all works now
  12. dealing with a car in which car play wasn’t working showing no comms and the yellow cable into the back of the 5f unit has broke off. Check etka can’t find the cable when search through the superb nether could tps. Can find it listed with a part number for the octavia 5e2970316s got it and spliced it in but still no joys. Took the car apart as much as I’m comfortable with just now to find any label with a part number but only ones I can find are on the plugs which are just for the plug. Anyone have any ideas what the part number might be for it for a 2016 superb mk3?
  13. A friend is 3d printing one for me
  14. Clips into the existing one then you need to change the coding to suit your old unit.
  15. Updated the mib2 firmware to 2.5 and fitted the bigger screen also changed the trim piece as with the mib2.5 you need the wider one
  16. have you had the dog bone mount out?
  17. Yes and no It fits up fine and all the buttons work bar one which is the bottom right button on the right side of the wheel. That’s the menu button that allows you to change to view the sat nav or driving data or what’s on the radio. That’s cause that uses linbus rather than canbus. You can get a module for it that you just plug in they are 95 euros. Me personally I never switch between the screens I always have it on driving data then you can still scroll through that perfectly fine.
  18. I’ve retrofitted the mk4 wheel on my car so that still has proper buttons
  19. usually on vcds shows it with hall sensors
  20. I hadn’t fitted the surrounding trim piece yet.
  21. The wiring will be the issue. Mine was the same till it finally broke and gave up
