Mismatched tyres on track yep this is well thought through.

finally got the new discs and pads though from mtec chucked on a set of cheap ecp pagid pads for the time being while waiting for these to come and yeah they were pretty done fresh discs and pads Also darkside sent me some of the new stickers certainly been an interesting 12 months thats for sure.

Not really, me and @Kenrw8 have met and I’ve been out in his car. My car ran over 40k mapped and with the new engine has done over 10k already

Had a little trip down to Donington Park with Darkside last week to check out their new project cars and go out on track with them On the drive back at low speed braking heard a grinding noise from the back with low speed braking turns out the pads and discs now needed a change..... Less than a year and 15k miles on these. Also a little christmas eve drive out with a friend in his ibiza cupra

That turbo looks screwed with that amount of oil also 1.1 bar is pretty low I’d say.

Greenline got them because ironically enough the disc set up was lighter than drums...

I keep saying it because it won’t work unless you get it changed in the mapping some of us have actually changed turbos you know.

They might be identical but one pushes and the other pulls. Also one uses a negative feed the other a positive.

They aren’t as the actuator on the Garrett works the opposite way.

The standard one is a pia to get off. Mine is just held on by 2 screws. I can do but it’s still going to get airflow to it which I want to stop so it actually gets heat struggles to get to 60 degrees just now.

Still not the best about 3-3.5mm on the outside. Getting cold now so having to tape up the coolers.

little bit of data Had a few comments not really from here but other places that open filters aren't good all they do is draw in heat so did a little test today and this was over 16 miles, lowest difference 1 degrees highest difference 3 degrees. Shows you want a good intercooler set up can do. New tyres finally in, old ones were pretty bad and hadn't even lasted a year Also we are back to that time of year again

Gearbox out today to finally get the clutch changed, Sachs SRE Organic out SRE Sintered Clutch in. Not as grappy as i thought pretty smooth and light compared to before. Standard clutch lasted 84k, this SRE Organic lasted 20k....

Nothing, 0, zero and it’s that simple plug it in select what map you want and it uploads it to the ecu and darkside are at hand via a online chat to get map tweaks when ever.

I can remap my fabia from darkside from outside my house.....
