In Sweden, all 4x4 Yeti's are equipped with Westfalia detachable towbar as standard. I think there is i problem with it.......it´s too high (49cm [19 inches] above ground in center of the towing ball) At least 5 cm ( 2 inches) too high The Octavia Scout have the same problem The center of the "ball" should between 35cm - 42cm at gross weight (about 500 kg) by the way - nice pictures!

Ordered my Yeti 4x4 170 TDI with "Stainless steel foot pedal covers". Would not it be nice with a stainless steel "footrest", too.On our Octavia -07 I installed a stainless steel "footrest" from the Golf V GTi. "Footrest" to the Golf V GTi fits perfect on Octavia II RS (1K1 864 551 TKH)Same dimensions on both cars. My 170 TDI 4X4 vas ordered 18 dec 2009 9 feb 2010 my dealer told me there vas som problem with Skoda ordering system. The order vas not confirmed. The car vas ordered again, now with a electic seat as bonus from the dealer.(Also got DITEC Paint sealant and Trunk Grill) Confirmed Should be built week 12 ( I hope) Delivery 3 weeks later

Have not tried with my caravan (90 cm snow) but my bodyweight is 75kg. When I stand on the towball the hight is 48 cm above ground. I measured a Tiguan at the dealer Approx. 5 cm lower than the Yeti (44 cm) My Octavia is 42 cm no load. 39cm with caravan I´m a little bit concerned if the caravan will level swenglish as usual
