  1. Has anybody tried repairing the bracket?
  2. Excellent work Mine looked like that once😪
  3. Mystery Blue covers all blues - doesn't it? Might also be called - Lucky Dip Blue, Random Blue, Variable Blue, Poorly Defined Blue
  4. Bracket is made of cheap frangible sugar! I would consider if they were made from brandy snap at least you would having something nice to eat when they disintegrate. Top RH corner failed behind adjuster but just look at the corrosion, outrageous really that they can be so poorly designed and manufactured 😱 £53 for new bracket and quoted over £300 for calibration. I'll be trying, no power whilst disconnected and M1 Southbound>50 mph. I'll let you know. https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/products/skoda-holder-for-the-front-radar-3q0998561#gallery
  5. I have since but new tyres on ~£600 and I don't think you'd want to be covering the cost of those.
  6. But that requires skill, knowledge and competence, not just being a box changer. I wonder even if stud extraction, cleaning out blind holes and using inserts is taught to mechanics now.
  7. Not that it helps but I am amazed that anybody would keep P7s on for that long. I found them to have the feel, grip and feedback one might associate with having solid rubber. Was extremely happy to ditch them fairly early on. Are they on the correct size wheel?
  8. I trust you have verified the towing capability. I understand that there were some issues with Kodiaks being rated at Zero KG but that might be historic situation but I would want to be certain.
  9. That appears to be quite a difference in speed ~5.4% I can confirm MYTRES are woeful, tyres seemed like a good price but despite getting an anticipated delivery date before my trip they were not delivered in time. I cancelled before travelling, sourcing an alternative tyre, and when I got back they had been left on my doorstep. They advised that they were delivered before I cancelled! Muppets! Never use them again.
  10. See here: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=235&aspect=45&diameter=18&wheelwidth=8&offset=44&width2=225&aspect2=55&wheel_size=17&wheel_width=7&offset2=46
  11. Did you steel those from my garage? I'm off outside to check🤔 In fact I am not sure that you've not stolen my car!
  12. Just taken this sorry it's not the best but yes I leave the settings as individual and if needed just use the stick to go into Sport mode or very occasionally rock it sideways to use manual I know I have 2 warnings one for service and one for Front Assist not Available so if anybody has any clues on the second that would be great. Ta Eco.mov
  13. Works OK on mine, same engine and MY as OP. 🤷‍♂️
  14. If you set up "Individual" this should retain the settings.
  15. If you are travelling that frequently I would invest in wheels and winter tyres. Also bear in mind that whilst you may need chains to get up the mountain there might be much snow in the valley and the route into the bottom of the resort. So if safety is really your priority then consider spare wheels and winter tyres. Once you have used them you will be amazed at how good they are see blow only a short distance from the main road but parked safely Habitually change summers for winters and have been for a few years now, since living in Munich, even when I don't go skiing. A 215/55/17 is a direct change for 235/45/18 and will enable chain fitment as well although I don't have chains.
  16. I'd be worried if they weren't doing that as standard! But yes the goop does bring about "I don't want to" rather than "It can't be done."
  17. I have a set of Audi badged whees with winter tyres they currently have alloy spigot rings fitted for use on Škoda 57.1mm vice Audi 66mm. See here for details:
  18. As we approach another winter consider if you are as safe as you could be. These wheels and tyres will enhance you safety, not only in snow but also when temperatures are lower. Have a look! Have a think! Make me an offer!
  19. But if the system should be sealed any fluid loss will degrade the performance it will just take longer! Like equating an engine that burns oil to a total loss system or a 2-stroke. It wasn't designed that way so it's wrong!
  20. Mine seems to react differently in differing temps, like most of us, quicker when warmer.
  21. No worse than other cars does not indicate it is good just means others are worse! Maybe there is scope for differences in the specification or numerous vendors are making the part slightly differently, I don't know but as different people have different experience something's going wrong. I do not wear rings and find it has degraded as have the wheel centre caps.
  22. Got the net set form new, along with the velcro dividers can be used t stop thing moving about, the boot is quite large after all. Can string it across and keep hat, coats just below the retractable cover. Could try these: https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/superb-3/spare-parts/accessories/glovebox-nets-luggage-compartment-covers-156.html
  23. Also need to build in price difference, as there appears to be a premium for tractor versions so any thing you pay over the price for an equivalent petrol is initially free fuel.
  24. All of the above, still cannot get an answer about when misting becomes a leak!
