L&K in the UK. Configurator seems to be a bit messed up at the moment.

I ordered an L&K with SLA that is very unlikely to be built before wk22, the website configurator now says SLA with lane assist and Blind Spot Detection £100, 2nd two used to be listed as standard kit on the L&K. Skoda UK on Facebook and brochure say it isn't available. So who knows what is going on.

I have ordered a reversing camera but no tv tuner.

I contacted Skoda international and UK. Skoda Int confirmed 9" Columbus. Skoda UK have said the new brochure is correct and that the new L&K will not be available with Smart Light Assist, even though it is still on the configurator, and available on all other trim levels.

Thanks for all the answers. Was just hoping to trickle charge the scooter while on the go. It is 24v, but will have to check the charger input in the next few days. I didn't think the USB sockets connected to the head unit anyway, thought the rear one only provided power? Was just hoping that as the same parts are used in multiple cars it might be the case of just finding the correct connection on the wiring loom.

Something else to go shopping for on the internet. Just had to run a wire from one cluster to the other on the current car, all the fittings were already there.

I looked on the czech configurator they have a choice of about 70 colours, don't speak the language so don't know if that is every colour that is available anywhere in the world. They had a very unusual orange which would be very interesting to see in real life.

Yeap. Correct one thing, mess with something else. Doesn't reflect the MY2018 spec either. Skoda International have already said the Columbus unit will be the new glossy, no buttons version after wk22.

Do wonder who proof reads these brochures, if anyone.

Hi Gizmo, You already know I want this done, but maybe if you change the title to something tailgate coding related rather than Kent you might get more response. Don't live in Kent but happy to come down for coding, it will be a good excuse to drive down to the coast for the day in the new car (when it arrives). Got everything on the car that I mentioned, so happy for you to look at the MY2018 coding of the TSR etc. so you can get it working for anyone else that wants it.

German Skoda forum says they are going to announce MY2018 spec tomorrow, but don't know if that includes UK?

So I found this on youtube, after finding the activate central console button closing the rear tailgate. Is it possible to code this with VCDS or VAG CAN on a new UK car, dealer says there are no plans to have Trailer Assist on the Superb any time soon.

Should have looked slightly further back. Thanks. Got a response through Skoda UK facebook page. Apparently, it was a typo in the brochure. Ridiculous response. A typo they have known about for a year and do nothing about, and dealers don't mention unless challenged to show it working on the car you have just test driven.

I am still waiting for an answer from Skoda UK about the boot closure via central console. Where can I find the link to the German Skoda file?

Dealer should have been more forthcoming about it's intention not to deal with the customer before it took the money for another car. IMHO. The issues with the previous car were presumably resolved once an arrangement had been agreed? If the money being offered was from Skoda UK, rather than the dealer, then the customer would have been free to go elsewhere in the knowledge that dealership wanted no further involvement with customer. Ultimately though both purchases and servicing were by dealer, and the dealer is responsible. Seems to be a major problem across most of the car trade, and many others, take your money and then not want any further involvement, until you have some more money to hand over of course.

Test drove a petrol blue L&K on Friday, very impressive, haven't seen a single picture that really does it justice. Couple of very nice cars by the way.

Thanks. I will make far more use of a glasses compartment than a sunroof, and its free!! Take the felt cloth out of my current one and shouldn't get any rattles either.

Did he/she clear all the fault codes? Even if you don't have any more problems I would definitely ask them to check codes again when you have it in for service.

Is there a Trailer Assist function available anywhere? If so is there any hardware that is required? Getting Factory fitted Tow Bar and Rear View Camera on a new L&K Estate.

Info is mixed. Does the new Superb Estate still have an overhead glasses compartment? Some people are saying it doesn't, but is that only if you have the sunroof?
