No I didn't mean there should be play in them,just saw that you've already replaced yours with new ones so probably is the rack that's faulty

Yep these,quite common for them to have play in them ...

Are you sure it's not just the inner tie rod that's worn,quite common

Sensible offer will take this would also consider swap for other mk2 fl mods,WHY ?

If your only replacing one spring I'd only change that top mount I was replacing all shocks and springs anyway so did Top mounts and bearings with them
