actually these scanners can watch every input you make and can even jam your car (prevent you from locking unlocking) so you have to press the key again enabling them to copy rolling codes, although this has been around for years so anyone with a basic remote fob is not safe how likely this is in the real world is probably low has they have to be relatively close to do it and ive never had a car stolen. its just out there I was referring to the start/stop button in my initial post asking this question.

standard on the sport line and L&K so yes you have it Ive ordered the SEL and thought it would be a nice option for £195 although as I need KESSY (don't know why) its going to cost £595 see what dealer says tomorrow after hes rang Skoda UK although I'm not holding much hope on this so will get a refund of the £195 ive paid unless I decide to go with KESSY or Skoda sh!t a mirricle and say I can have it without lol

car ordered today dealer confirmed the 9.2 head unit would be in the car but was not sure if it still retained the cd/dvd drive can anyone confirm that this is the case or not ? also ordered LED+ package without KESSY and confirmed it was needed and pointed to the brochure he than rang me 2hrs later and said they have just gone to order the car and it wont let him order without KESSY hes going to ring skoda on Monday to see if there is anyway around it as there is no mention in the brochure it saying LED+ plus pack in conjunction with, although I don't hold much hope with

ordering my se l on Friday morning with a few extras rear camera and Led plus pack unfortunately got to add KESSY to get this so extra £400 which I didn't want to spend considering changing wheels to Modus or Pegasus and no extra cost Hope these extras wont cause a delay

did you end up adding it ? I was only going off the brochure so thought you could add it on its own lol

i was looking on the MY18 configurator just now and added the LED plus pack on the SEL and a pop up came up saying to add it ive got to also add KESSY to get it why ?? I also was able to add the rear view camera without rear wiper I wonder if its an error there side or this is now the case ?

Hi all a little help on this one please for those who have drive mode on their SEL or L&K Test drove a new S3 today although an SE as they did not have an SEL in to test drive, I felt the car a bit laggy to what I would expect and use to. I then went to test drive a equivalent engine in the Passat and felt throttle response was more sharp with what felt better acceleration more to my taste tbh and the salesman told me that it was in sport mode setting in drive mode selection. For those with the with drive mode fitted could you tell me if there is a notable difference between setting normal mode and that of sports mode. Thanks in advance

Went back to dealer today and was informed it would be a MY18 as from order its takes approx. a month to build start. the dealer also confirmed the only change would be to the larger 9" entertainment unit as seen in the Octavia, he also said lead time would be 12 weeks but to air on caution as could be 16 weeks

Had an email of them this morning confirming week 22, although they were tight lipped on what if any changes there would be, which considering in my email to them I told them I was putting an order in later this week and would like to know any changes there would be. Bad customer service really but all manufactures do this. Email from them I must say, we are delighted about your interest in our new upcoming model of Skoda Superb. Unfortunately, we do not have any specific information about this model. Production of this specific model will start in the 22. week. Going to test drive on Tuesday the 150 and they think theres a 190 also I can drive ideally would like to try both Mrs wants RVC at least so need to have a think and the possibility of removing wiper most camera blured vision when wet so what clever bugger decided to add a washer ??? must have a mini wiper on it lmao Thanks for your advice

1/ so you prefer PA rather than RVC ? only thoughts I'm having would like both but in real world terms how often would I use PA and the extra cost of it all against going for the full hog L&K and having everything if you get what I'm saying 2/ for the price £350 my thoughts are when I think about it, is it really worth the hassle of pulling everything apart which could cause a potential rattle issue 3/ my thoughts and again for the price a long with the hassle if I retro fit LEDs in door handles which would not be as good so a well priced option imo. with the RVC from what ive read on the forum and from the brochure you've got to add the rear wiper (BUMMER) am I correct and for what reason a wash facility on the camera. what VCDS do you all have and where from cheapo ebay or the more expensive ones I would not really have an issue with anything related to the CAN side of things as its part of my daily work, which makes me think its worth getting if the price is right Thanks all again

Can anyone give me more insight on these please, Ok now down to a few options if I went the S3 route and would value your opinion if anybody has them as standard fit or optional extras 1, would you recommend the park assist or a rear camera and front sensors which would be more expensive than just adding park assist this one is from a woman's point of view lol 2, has anybody successfully added a rear camera and front sensors as a aftermarket thought and is the camera a cheaper option aftermarket than specing it as a factory option. 3, the LED package plus, although a gimmick kind of a classy touch lol What is the S3 like in the back seat wise as the Mrs will be in the back when on family outings with the kid as she is pondering whether a more upright back would be more comfortable i.e what the Kuga has more upright as she does get the odd twinge in her back. another question re the dvd drive ... is it possible to watch dvd's and can you disable so you got the option of watching dvds on the move ? when little one in the car

As good as the DSG box is imo you are going to get a few more mpg out of a manual and the same applies to estate vs saloon in real life so if went for the S3 manual saloon I would ruff guess 4-8mpg over and above what Coops is getting after its run in of course ?
