My kuga came from the factory with one touch closing from inside, I don't know if skoda come from the factory this way in other markets and optional vcds programming only enables one touch closing. From my Kuga point of view I have no issues on safety aspect, nor do I see any issues with a car that was designed with this function from the factory other than being able to operate via the fob from a distance, and tbh see no issues on the S3 given certain markets come with the function activated

Ahh forgot about that, did cross my mind he was going to give his new car a leisurely drive back home lol, although on the other hand there is nothing leisurely about the M6

a lot of manufacturers higher range models incorporate this system and to my knowledge there has never been any safety recalls and with manual opening closing any doors the risk is still the same as those little pinkys seem to unexpectedly get everywhere they shouldn't be. I cant imagine how many A&E trips have occurred due to this. As with most things in life parental guidance is a must in protecting those little fingers and for their safety in general On my Kuga it has the button both on the tailgate and inside the car, not sure if the S3 has this but normally everyone is in the car strapped in before the lid is operated from inside What I am undecided on is whether there should be a button on the fob as there is a possibility in opening the tailgate as you approach your car from a distance as someone walks past or a car drives past at that unexpected moment especially on shopping trips, supermarket car parks etc Other than this imo it is a practicable/safe option, but as with most things in life we all differ and entitled to our own opinions.

All my dealer tells me when I ring its still at status 10 when it goes to 20 he will let me know. When I ordered the dealer said they would interrupt one of their build slots so would get mine sooner, although doubt this is the case because they will have a record of their build slots surely ? initially I was told 10-12weeks when I ordered on 5th May, thinking if it does not come until August I will hold off taking delivery until September for the new reg

Seeing it in the flesh as you have I expect it to look the part, pics don't always do things justice they deserve cant wait to get mine

nothing can be worse than the screens used on Mercs imo, although I must agree that this does look like a aftermarket thought. Oh well it will grow on me I hope!

Still showing £400 for KESSY as an option on SE L in the link you provided and on the online configurator? Where do you see £150 option or indeed now included as standard as I will be right peed off if this is the case as would of liked led + pack but at the time wasn't willing to pay £400 for KESSY just to get LED + pack
