-
awesomely low don't get me wrong the "best" i've managed is 160miles from a tank but all i'm saying is decent mpg is possible
-
it sure would be a lot of work, the engine doesn't fit.
-
why is it going to take two weeks? i got a new one in a day or two.
-
nope, i kept driving like a ****.

Auto Trader UK - VOLKSWAGEN Polo 1.8T GTI 150 an equivalent age/milage fabia is about £7500 and a conversion is gonna cost you way more than £1500 not to mention insurance and resale.
-
with the same mods as yours clive and driven fairly gently for a full tank on a days motorway driving i got around 400 miles from a tank.
-
whats broken? the tracnsformer, the laptop or the plug/socket?

do what you like but never expect help from me. bye.

forgot to say that was with a remap/fmic etc etc and even with a bigger turbo running around 280bhp i averaged about 32mpg from scotland to oxford without even trying to drive sensibly.
-
230-250 from a tank average, you must either drive like tool or don't know how to drive the car properly really. my octavia 4x4 would easily average 300+ from a tank and thats a 4WD 1450Kg with a 55litre tank car not an ibiza! and have you ever driven a 1.8T? they make peak torque from about 1700rpm - 5000rpm or something silly so driving under 3000rpm won't stop the turbo from working and also why a turbo car and try to drive so the turbo doesn't boost?

indeed. *****.

your warranty is with who ever supplied them not the manufacturer.

bengie replied to Reds's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
yes -
but thats what you need for your speedo to be accurate, the rolling radius to stay the same within reason.

i can change my 225/45/17's on my octavia for 215/35/19's and if anything i'll have more clearance, or even 205/30/20 and be the same overall size as my original wheel/tyre combo.

they will be no tighter than 13/14/15/16/17 inch wheels.
