Computer clever folk: I want to cut out some of an image so there is "nothing" there in one of the corners. But when I do this, and save it as a jpeg, it makes the bit I've cut out a plain white colour and I want it to be transparent. How do I do that?

Looking forward to returning to Brynawelon tomorrow; feels like ages since I spent any time at home. The prospect of adding another vehicle to the fleet makes the prospect even better!

LPG. Is it as good as people make it out to be? Does it affect engine performance/reliability and does it make a thirsty car effectively more economical?

I just remembered I need to get a booster pack. The Octavia reminded me with a flat battery this morning. Looks like I'll take the Rapid instead!

Downside of living in West Wales: bought some pyjamas in ASDA today. Got them home only to discover I have bought XL. Now face a 140 mile round trip to return them. D'oh!

Its all very well having a 'smart' phone capable of doing many wonderous things but what use is it when you can't be away from home for more than aa few hours without the battery going flat?
