  1. Apparently, I read on another forum, they have been trying to get hold of a Lada Riva but Lada Club members have been refusing to let them borrow one.
  2. Seconded. Please someone, bl00dy put us out of our misery and find out:confused:
  3. I am currently staying at my mums whilst I recuperate and we live opposite an ex-Perodua dealer. He had the franchise about 3 months and sold 1 car in all that time.He told me he'd rather stick a swarm of angry wasps up his ar$e than drive a Perodua again!
  4. He must be off his tree if he thinks people will pay that sort of money for his motors - £4850 for a 6 year old Perodua!!!! Thats what you'd pay for a good 2002 Octy vRS!!!
  5. Kia Sedona Hyundai i800 Ford Galaxy Chrysler voyager Dodge Journey
  6. He's got another 1998 Felicia Pick Up he wants £2,995 for , a shed load of Peroduas and Microcars at stupidly inflated prices , and the best one has to be £10,000 for a 1986 5-Series!!! Wonder if he actually sells anything??? Those prices just reek of arrogance!
  7. Stephen King does some good Horrors, as already mentioned, theres IT, Silver Bullit, The Sining, Salems Lot, and also Pet Semetary, The Stand - about 6 hours long but really really enjoyable, Room 1408, Rose Red, Children Of The Corn series of films, Creepshow, Creepshow 2 etc. The one film that really put the frighteners on me was Poltergeist. No joke, whenever I see that film, even nowadays at 36 years old, I always feel uneasy about being in a room at night alone for a few days afterwards!
  8. Not a chance - it's value will drop like a stone, the quality will be at least 5 years behind the competition and there won't be much call for it as Hyundai just don't have the same sort of 'feel-good factor' Skoda's have.
  9. If you want gore, try either Hostel, Hostel 2 or any of the SAW films.Absolutely brilliant! Fragile is good too, the bits towards the end made me jump a bit!
  10. To be honest, I tried getting some parts from them myself for a friend in Hungary - he wanted badges for his Rapid RiC.The chap, Mr.Crane, was very abrupt, and didn't seem to care either way whether he sold them to me or not.I also found his prices to be totally extortionate.(£25 for a badge that goes on the door of a Rapid !!!!!) Needless to say, I didn't bother buying. He also didn't seem to know what badge I meant and we went round in circles for days explaining that there had only ever been one badge on the door of the Rapid, black writing on a silver background etc.The 135i badge was also a 'problem' as he didn't understand what I meant by 'it goes on the rear lip spoiler next to the 'rapid' badge. Another friend bought some parts and after 6 weeks they didn't turn up and they didn't want to know. I always recommend CPMS in Peterborough now, I know Chris well, he's an old neighbour of mine, and he's a great guy to deal with for RWD Skoda parts.01733 324251. Cranes- wouldn't touch them.:thumbdwn:
  11. 1998 SKODA FELICIA PICK UP 1.9D on eBay, also, Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 31-Oct-08 15:25:59 GMT) Looking at the price makes me wince a bit:eek: Not too sure about the titty pink paint job:confused:
  12. For the first 9 months of the year, Skoda sales are only down by 200 cars on the same period for 2007, so they aren't performing that badly.
  13. Hi and Welcome. Try CPMS on 01733 324251 for a tailgate strut. They're Skoda specialists and do mail order too. Common probs with Favorits are rust around the suspension areas and the cups the springs sit in.
  14. Here's a nice silver one at a main dealers: Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi Sport Hatchback on eBay, also, Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Oct-08 13:34:59 BST). Love it with the stripes on.
  15. If everyone boycotts Shell and Esso petrol stations, and uses only the Supermarkets for fuel, then the 'Big 2' will have to come down on price as they will notice the drop in trade. The Supermarkets will then reduce their prices again in a bid to keep the custom.Personally, I'd rather use the cheapest petrol, which is nearly always from a Supermarket.
  16. Exactly. One of my pet hates is seeing pictures of cars on the net with their number plates 'daubed' over or wiped out.So many thousands of people see your numberplate on your car when you are driving anyway!

  18. Hi, If its a 1.3 GLi, or a 1.3 GLXi its 68 HP and has a top speed of 101 MPH, and is the 50KW model.
  19. One thing to remember is the facelifted Octavia will be here in a few months, and so dealers will be looking to shift stock of the current shape models so you can either haggle like mad for a good deal on the current model, or wait and get a new facelift model.
