  1. Once you enter the EU, it is very unlikely you'll be stopped until your destination if you keep on the main road network unless you drive severely over the speed limit or your car is very obviously not roadworthy. There is so much congestion and foreign cars driving all over the EU noone will even notice you. Separately, I don't think there are any legal problem with what you are describing.
  2. https://www.postoffice.co.uk/international-driving-permit#IDP-Checker THey are not just valid for one country. Mine is valid for all countires where they allow the 1968 version Because there are only a few types of IDP, EU for example except Spain I think have the 1968 version and ofr Spain you have the 1949 version so if you're driving though both you need BOTH IDPs
  3. I already have the IDP done the other day (valid for 3 years) except Spain where you need a different IDP. £5.50 a pop in the post offce. Will get Green Card when I insure my new car in May.
  4. how many miles per tank is everyone getting in the 150BHP diesel manual and what type of driving? Thanks
  5. nothing annoys me more than noisy wipers, even more than rattles and creaks
  6. Eventually When I pick it up what should I check at handover: 1. Transport blocks removed 2. Fold, recline and slide all seats 3. Check sdcard, navigation, infotainment 4.check for swirl marks, scratches, dents 5. Fuel and Adblue levels 6. Check engine oil levels anything else? thanks
  7. That money off is only for the 6.4% APR PCP (I've confirmed with all the dealers I got offers for through CArwow on ther TArraco) Max you'll get for the 0% is £1000 plus £500 conquest if you don't drive a VAG car currently. This is curretly as it's a brand new release, might change in Q2 2019.
  8. where did you get the pictures from about the internal dimensions? I'd like to check another car
  9. The 0% ends in the 31st of March so who knows later what happens.
  10. Yes i saw that sorry. And That’s kind of the conclusion most reviewers also mentioned that it in the End depends largely on what looks one prefers as the cars are both so similar. Is the Tarraco better or does it do anything different than the Kodiaq? No definitely not. I love the way the Kodiaq looks, probably 5% more than the Tarraco and had Skoda done a 0% PCP offer at this time I would have gone for the Kodiaq probably. As I plan on paying the final payment after 4 years subject to the car being satisfactory after 4 years.
  11. I know what you are saying and assuming but it’s not the case at least for the Tarraco at launch. The xcellence trim with 150 diesel manual with panoroof costs list price £31,895 plus £960 for roof. If you spec up a Kodiaq Sel with the same features it will cost you close to £36k. Even with all the money off for the Kodiaq (approx 17%) and adding the interest it is a lot more expensive at least for PCP This is now, at the present time when SEAT are offering 0% trust me I’ve looked at this VERY carefully.
  12. They do the DSG petrol I think. Have you checked the configurator?
  13. Full LED inside and out. Tarraco got 8/10 on carwow bitbthe review was done even before it launched in the uk and they haven’t updated it since. Not sure how they do this without test driving it. Anyway yes. I got the xcellence with panoroof for £31k on 0%PCP approx £315 a month with 10% deposit so well under the PcP deals for the Kodiaq with the same spec. The Kodiaq would cost approx 33k with the same spec and then add the 5.5% interest. Time will tell once I get the car.
  14. I have. Don’t like the Allspace (mainly too expensive) and have ordered a Tarraco as it’s cheaper spec for spec than the Kodiaq. I didn’t find any difference in the boot space and rear legroom and general space between either of them and generally don’t care about the umbrellas, torche or ice scraper. Otherwise there is no difference. The seats are same shape and the buttons and knobs are also the same
  15. I don't understand this, everyone says the Kodiaq is bigger inside than the Tarraco and AllSpace yet they dimensions are identical? How is this possible? Either you get more rear legroom and a smaller boot or vice versa.
  16. don't understand what the difference is to just plugging in your phone and using that as data instead of having a separate SIM just for the car? Anyway, what provider and deal is best for continental driving to have continous driving with roaming?
  17. do you have a link to the zenith portal?
  18. https://www.euroncap.com/en/results/seat/tarraco/34836
  19. 20mm not 200. Don't know , some official figure somewhere. The differences are so small you don't notice this anyway. 1-2 cm here or there is not going to make a difference. The car I would say is probably closer to the Tiguan AllSpace than the Kodiaq. What I liked though was the steering is quite direct, not race car but a lot directer than the Kodiaq IIRC. It's one turn for full lock so you dont have turn a lot at all to go into a corner. The ACC is the one up to 210kmh I believe, haven't obviously tried but it goes to that. The traffic assist and jam control works really well and if you don't brake yoursef it will continue forward after quite a long stop too. THe car is not as soft as the Kodiaq , probably more like the tiguan. and it doesn't feel like it rolls in corners at all. The digital dash and infotainment screen are very clear and sharp, everything looks well made just like in the KOdiaq. The rear seats slide and recline and can be split is 40/20/40. It has three zone climate control as standard, and a USB and 12v socket for the rear passengers. Head space with panoroof and the seat all the way up is probably best avoided if your taller than 6 foot 5. I am 6 foot 1 and had 4 fingers left before touching the roof. Tables behing the front seats are standard as are full LED inside and out and dynamic turn signals. Lane assist is standard as well but ACC comes only from xcellence up
  20. DOnt remember. Middle i think. But its straight? Not curved? if there really is a difference its tiny and doesn’t matter. The car on first impression is smaller than I imagined, because the bonnet is quite flat. The Kodiaq looks chunkier and higher at the front but this actually true as the suspension is 2cm lower on Tarraco
  21. Tarraco load length is 105cm , I have measured it this weekend
  22. We had an interesting day test driving the Tarraco today through London and a bit of M4 for about 3 hours. It was a 190 TsI 4drive DSG excellence. Not the engine and gear box I ordered but gave me a fair impression of the car. It’s a good car but not amazing but that’s to be expected at that price point. First impression was it is Not as big a I imagined from the pictures. The 3rd row really is just for children. The car is same width as the Ateca just a bit longer. The boot is shallower but longer than the Ateca. Wind Noise insulation is good both in town and motorway but on the 20 inch rims the road noise is there. It’s not softly sprung like the Kodiaq. Steering is quite direct. One turn of the wheel in either direction for full lock. The tech however is flawless. The LED lights and bulbs everywhere are great. Interior ambient lighting is plush. Seats could be more comfy. Somehow I couldn’t get fully relaxed. Will need to work out a good driving position. Any other questions please let me know and I will try to answer
