  1. so you dont prefere do it manually with small torx bit, just turn it clockwise to the end. after replacing pads, pull parking brake first to pistons go out and then use main brakes pedal to do it on all 4 wheels. i am planning to do that for about 6 months, i buyed ATE rotore and all ate cramic pads. my brakes are on 50% but i like eay that ceramic works. no dust. here s procedure my mechanic describe.. Handbrake: when you tighten the small torx shaft, put back the cylinder and install the pads, put back the housing, do the same for the second wheel and then just get in the car, turn on the ignition and tighten and release the parking brake a couple of times, and it will adjust itself, that means you do both wheels and then only turn on the ignition and the rest. Everything just comes back when you activate the parking brake, it will return the cylinders to the end and you then pump the oil with your foot.
  2. With a litlle scredriwer around i pull it out, i think it was neer cleaned.. With detergent and hot water old toothbrush and its like a new 🫡
  3. I look in on my container of braking fluid every few months and now noticed, this yellow filter is filled with dirt, and all fluid is sluggish somehow. Fluod was changed 2 yrs ago, how to remove that yellow piece of plastic filter to wash it because soon i will change brakes and brake fluid again by home made system with gravity, but i dont want to put new oil thru this muddy filter. Can it be removed to clean it with brake cleaner or similar?
  4. on my Karoq 2019, 1.5 tsi i had issues to reset service inspection and oil change, oil change i reset with combination of buttons but inspection service i reset thru obd 11. for 10 credits i think which is almost nothing. it is set to 2 yrs and 30000 kms, i dot follow that program, i do it myself at 8000-10000 kms or 9-12 months (urban driving 90%)
  5. go for that octavia 2, 1.9 tdi, do a belt change and other things needed and drive.
  6. 10 plugs and tool are less than 10$ you dont change only rubber seal. whole new plug. https://www.amazon.com/06L103801-Removal-Replacement-Compatible-Passat/dp/B0F9KPWKBD/ref=ex_alt_wg_d?_encoding=UTF8&pf_rd_r=17JH5WMZWQ2C8NWT28GQ&pf_rd_p=4e1b46a8-daf9-4433-b97e-d6df97cf3699&pd_rd_i=B0F9KPWKBD&psc=1&pd_rd_w=G9Xr0&pd_rd_wg=YVtPL&pd_rd_r=ee260b5e-eb71-4417-91b9-699f53aed51a&content-id=amzn1.sym.4e1b46a8-daf9-4433-b97e-d6df97cf3699 2€ one piece. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/06l103801-oil-drain-plug-m14x1-5x22-china-28273.html
  7. my first change was on 60000 kms, in miles it would be 37000 miles.
  8. do you change it by yourself or in some garage? if so, go to them to fix it with new plug. oil can be reused. they put it in a clean canister and return afrer fix.
  9. this is forum where i colected info when had renault. https://www.renaultforums.co.uk/
  10. you wrote its N/A engine, so it cant be TSI, but FSI. maybe you can drive on moderate gasoline. i think in Russia they all drive on RON 92, because higher octane fuel is more expensive. how much HP or kW have your engine? there are some hints: General Guidelines Low Compression (e.g., 8:1 to 9:1): Can often use lower-octane gasoline, such as 87 RON, as the fuel is less prone to pre-detonation. Moderate Compression (e.g., 10:1 to 11:1): Requires a mid-grade fuel, such as 92 RON, for optimal combustion and to prevent engine knocking. High Compression (e.g., 11:1 to 12:1): Demands higher octane fuels like 95 RON to ensure efficient and smooth operation.
  11. i heard that oil level can harm but never see it. good is to replace PCV valve. probably lambda was faulty..
  12. you dont need any tool to reset service interval.. othervise OBD 11 ot VCDS.
  13. on 185000km i will do a whole turbo rebuilt. the wastegate shaft is worn out and has play in all directions, and when you hold down the throttle it is not closed but leaks and you have a boost leak. repair the entire turbine..
  14. first extract oil than change oil filter if you don have Jack and tools, because always is better that way. you can inspect engine and gearbox for leaks and other abnormalities.. also suspension parts and braakes and tyres..
  15. the turbine actuator lever on the axles has air for sure, it can rattle like that, there are fuses that secure it so it doesn't rattle.
  16. not sure about ytb music, using spotify works normal.. if you dont have checked unknows sources, app wont even apply on AA display. try to unrestrict battery usange on YTB music, default is balanced.
  17. Yes, the Huawei P20 Pro supports Wi-Fi 5 GHz, and you can confirm your connection by checking your Wi-Fi network's properties in your phone's settings, usually under Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. To ensure your P20 Pro connects to the 5 GHz band, make sure that your Wi-Fi network has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands enabled and that they have different SSIDs (network names).
  18. than put leather on it. you can doit yourself, or goto service which is repairing interior. i put this on my karoq wheel https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005680456014.html? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009760606619.html?
  19. first you have tap several times (i think 7 times ) on the bottom where is section "version and permission info" than developer option will be available. it is common gesture for enter additional options everywhere on android phone.
  20. you have to be unconnected of any wifi network during process. i went to parking of another house to set it up, because i didnt want to turn off home router. you need to be only on mobile data 4G or 5G to connect AA to wifi.
  21. nothing of that products i dont have in shops in my country. even not have non additive gasoline. we have adittive added 95 and 100 octan fuel. and quality of fuel is also suspicious. thats why i use those additives, maybe twice a year, for example LIQUI MOLY 5153
  22. to code a battery on VAG vehicles you have OBD11 or VCDS. those are cheapest versions.. for other stuff you can use some generic obd2 tool for 5-50$ and app like car scanner.. maybe torque. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ovz.carscanner or renew your licence on Carista
