hmmmm well that did not work once connected when you go into reverse that camera should show feed but nothing but according to hayes manual and tester that black/blue wire was the hot wire for reverse lights stumped now any thoughts ????

I did just that it's the blue/black in case anyone else needs to know 😃

ok so just installing a dash cam and rear cam and there is a red wire it says you can splice into reverse lights this then activates the rear camera to view on lcd screen and acts as parking camera does anyone which colour wire i need to connect into please

just a quick one the drive shaft bolts m10 x 52mm yes im only seeing 50mm or 55mm are either of these both okay ???

I know your right boot is ordered and will fit and keep eye on fluid just a pia keep taking the battery off lol.

so i popped the battery off yesterday so i could check the power steering fluid and lets say i could see no fluid it took about quarter litre to fill it to level now i know its been about 2 years since i topped this up but ive no idea how long it has taken for that to leak out so will give it a few days and check level again and have ordered new boots to try that route first. If no good then its steering rack time which i really dont want to do as i dont like the idea of dropping out the sub frame 😞

so update went to start them today but got stopped in my tracks as i found this offside looks like the boot has split on steering rack and a bit of fluid on the wishbone, is this just finding a new boot and replacing or do i have a steering rack issue ???

either that or look into getting a full yellow wrap

hmmmmm thats not good i ordered from here as a friend of mine had a set for his fabia and he says they were fantastic and ive driven in his car and seem great tbh 😞

This is the company I got parts from and next day delivery free all in cost me £101.

So I've decided to do a proper job and ordered complete new fully assembled driveshafts for both sides and I'm very impressed with this company and tbh works out better buying complete and makes the job a lot easier I would think if anyone else is considering it. Only issue I have is I have to find where I can buy the inner cv gaskets from like this.

Ok so while I have bumper and wing off repairing the bit of damage done by the van that reversed into me (thanks for that) I'm going to do the last of the suspension/ drivetrain jobs and replace both sides inner and outer CV joints but are both joints same both sides or different please ???

i have same issue but cannot find one of these anywhere like rocking horse **** ive tried everywhere but i cant get a replacement 😞

had a good check today luckily it was just a pipe clamp failed so an easy fix although someone has now backed into my car whilst it was parked up popped the bumper and broken the plastic clip that holds it on and put a dent in the upper most corner of the wing right at the coach line so now got to strip bumper off and find a new clip and fix dent on wing 😞

Mine is blowing going to change it out can anyone tell me the size of the piping is it 1.75 or 2inch please ???
