Might be mistaken.? I am currently driving a 2017 Octavia and my android smart phone is wirelessly paired.

That's all very good points, but, something would be far wrong for tyres to be rubbing the arches. I'm not talking about 65mm or such. If you have 40mm or less and finding them hard,changing to 45 makes a comfortable difference. The cars in the showroom are likely on 45's

The octavia has had the wireless pairing for smart phone for more than 2 years now.

No need to change the wheels, just the too low profile tyres which is the reason for the hard ride and potential for wheel damage. Some are running on tyres that are so low profile that they appear to be on the rims. But then of course that's cool isn't it.

New kamiq in the pipeline and I never thought there would be an issue with LA. Stop Start was a problem I experienced constantly having to switch it off until I gave up and then gradually got used to it. So LA might be the same although it does sound like a bit of a *******s.

Hi , I am wondering why it is that you can't fit cheap reversing camera. Probably not to main system but one can be fitted with a wireless system that communicates remotely with its own independent screen. All the necessary kit would be in the boot and so no wires going forward.

Today got rid of the black grill and fitted chrome one ( only joking ) . decided to get front wheels off to clean up calipers and spray them. Unfortunately neighbour came to discuss his suspected injectors problem . Result, struggle to get wheels on in a downpour. Aaaaaghh !

Hello , Having read the comments about the bag of silica in the expansion tank I decided to have a look at my 17 plate Octavia. I found no bag and no indication of one, nothing stamped on the tank. So it seems that the practice has been ended a few years back.

Your new car should have the DAB , mine is a 2017 1.0 petrol S and has it. No CD player of course, that was a surprise I didn't expect. I used the SD card once and then didn't bother. The Stop Start takes a bit of getting used to but it's Ok . This model if you don't already know, has plenty of power and will be speedy when you want.

Yes, I agree it does look a bit unnecessary. Looks like what you'd expect to find on the tail gate of a pick up truck. Makes you wonder how it passed design planning.

I've noticed this some time ago and thought it wasn't meant to open until I read your post. So after checking the info in the handbook and trying again it still remains stuck fast . Considering if to apply some leverage or just forget it.
