  1. Thats mebbe because your driving to the road conditions which allows your tyres to keep traction ,minus 5 with frost on the road plant your foot in a vrs in 1st and 2nd and it will break traction ,never had winter tyres myself always had just tyres and never had issues ,i just alter my driving style 👍
  2. My vrs tsi does the same this time of year ,wet greasy roads ,so rather than change the tyres change your driving style ,stop hard accelerating in 1st and 2nd ,its usually not that hard to figure where the car will break traction if you mash the pedal ,better to arrive with your car still straight rather than bent 👍
  3. Did you unlock the sd card first when put in comp ,i updated mine last weekend ,just deleted maps and other file from sd card ,dowloaded new maps and other little file that came with it ,and then i just copied both straight to sd card ,slid the lock back over and popped in car all good ,i did nothing about fat32 and mine were champion 👍

  8. Had my 220 tsi five years in december i drop the oil every 12 months as i do short runs to work which is not too good for oil in the winter, anyhoo ive had to top mine up twice in that time but only by half a litre at most ,if yours is using oil i cant see changing to a different brand making much difference ,it will still use it regardless of name on bottle .

  11. You slide the screw driver into the back off the surround once you have popped a clip ,then just follow it round the surround ,it falls to pieces 👍
  12. I am being truthfull as i have changed my surround to black ,look down from the slam panel (open bonnet )you can see the first clip at drivers side uk,prise off with a long screwdiver ,once you have done this you can slide a screw driver around the rest of the surround ,it will break into half a dozen pieces tho ,clean out the muck and replace with new one 15 mins done 👍
  13. I believe its plastic welded in place (the grill)
  14. Surround will make no difference to grill it is so easy to swap ,grill is a bumper of job ,but looking at yours it may repair with some good superglue 👍
