  1. I would take it to a local body shop to be repaired correctly ,dont think it would cost to much ,better than a home bodge job that dont match 👍

Dont worry about letting other folk down ,when your having such a hard time as your going through concentrate on getting to the good side again ,ime sure everyone who knows you will understand ,be a tad selfish and look after you ,your good friends and colleagues will be happier to see you happy, good luck mate ,i know there just words but ive been in a couple of deep holes myself ,but time friends and talking really do help get you out 👍
  12. Mattyboy if you really want a vrs just go buy one their really good motors ,every make of car has its horror stories hence why forums have appeared ,folk rarely come on to say my cars running like a dream ,there places to get help with problems ,for every car thats s *** theres a thousand perfect ones 👍

  18. Best ive had out of my vrs tsi estate is 42 mpg on a long run normal driving ,drive it at 90 mph your back in just over mid 30s ,regardless of what mode your car is in ive never found its made a difference ,if you drive it hard it will need more fuel.
  19. shrooms
  20. Up in the honnister pass in the lakes ,and its wet
  21. No all ive done to mine is change the grill surround to a black one debadged the rear ,not a fan of lettering ,major service last year ,oil change every twelve months and spent the last three and half years polishing the life out of it .
  22. Mines a petrol vrs and the gearbox is smooth through all gears no notchiness at all ,as for the steering i set mine to individual and have all set to sport apart from the silly engine growl in the cabin ,it slighly weights up the steering ,but most electronic steering is rather lifeless .
  23. Around town anywhere between 22 to 32 usually high twenties best on a long run is 42 mpg ,but i dont drive with mpg in mind so mebbe others get better than me .
  24. Had my tsi220 for four years now never missed a beat ,going off your milage petrol would be your best bet ,as for the tsi prefering super unleaded its not true ,i used to run mine on it but then started using e10 ,it made zero difference to the car performance wise car was just as lively ,mebbe lost a mile or two to the gallon on a long run but you dont really buy a vrs if fuel efficiency worries you .
